i did what you suggest and now my fitbit is not found in the iphone bluetooth at all so cant connect!
Looks like my fitbit is now found and it has fixed the problem - at least for today!
Steps I took.
Restart fitbit
removed fitbit from bluetooth.
restart iphone
re-add fitbit to bluetooth
refresh
this took an hour to figure out but its now up to date.

Best AnswerHi I have tried to synch from the actual app but no luck. It comes up connect to Bluetooth on phone. No device is showing in my Bluetooth on iPhone. Iam so annoyed. Customer service keep repeating same things to me. No use. I don’t know where to go from here. Device not fit for purpose. They won’t refund or exchange device either. I bought from very.co.uk. Past their return time.
I followed the steps and phone and iPad are now syncing but it appears Fitbit have done something and steps sleep patterns and resting heartbeat are not on the main screen. I found them on a different page in the app with a section to press to open e.g sleep patterns but this is greyed so you cannot add it. After reading other reports it appears Fitbit have updated the app to their detriment. If it carries on I may ditch the Fitbit which up to now has been great
