Best Answer

Looks like my fitbit is now found and it has fixed the problem - at least for today!

Steps I took.

Restart fitbit

removed fitbit from bluetooth.

restart iphone

re-add fitbit to bluetooth

refresh

this took an hour to figure out but its now up to date.

This worked for me.  I'm sure I did it previously, but this time did the trick.  Thank you.  Now I can join challenges again.

I’ve had the same issue. It’s been over a week since it would sync. Apple and Fitbit really need to talk and get it fixed.

Open the Fitbit website, On google or whatever search engine you use, create an account, look at your dashboard there.

I’m able to synch but the main display in the app doesn’t load up, I’ve tried just about everything and I can’t figure it out.

I’ve tried to re-pair my device (Versa 2) but it’s no different. I’ve lost all sleep, steps and exercise data. What can I do?

I’ve tried this “workaround” and it still doesn’t work

Best Answer

Hi, when you say restart Fitbit, do you mean reinstalling the app?

I’m so sorry you guys are still experiencing issues. It was a pain for a few days but finally ignoring the device on my IPAD’s Bluetooth and repairing it fixed the problem. It was the latest up to 13.4.1 that failed to allow me to sync. I sent several messages to Fitbit support on Twitter and they keep giving me the same run around rebooting, deleting the app, so on a d so on. It took another Fitbit user to tell me to ignore the device on Bluetooth and miraculously that did the trick. I hope you all get some answers soon.

Hi I have tried to synch from the actual app but no luck. It comes up connect to Bluetooth on phone. No device is showing in my Bluetooth on iPhone. Iam so annoyed. Customer service keep repeating same things to me. No use. I don’t know where to go from here. Device not fit for purpose. They won’t refund or exchange device either. I bought from very.co.uk. Past their return time.

I followed the steps and phone and iPad are now syncing but it appears Fitbit have done something and steps sleep patterns and resting heartbeat are not on the main screen. I found them on a different page in the app with a section to press to open e.g sleep patterns but this is greyed so you cannot add it. After reading other reports it appears Fitbit have updated the app to their detriment. If it carries on I may ditch the Fitbit which up to now has been great

I finally had some luck. I went to settings on my iPad and iPhone and
clicked on Charge 3 and then deleted it. Rebooted my iPad and iPhone. And
looked at the app. Amazingly it started to sync. Who knows why. But now I
have the right time and it all works.

Nope not sorted. After reading some posts I wonder whether Fitbit have updated their app and if you want sleep patterns and resting heart rate etc you have to pay £7.99 per month for the privilege!!!
