I updated the app this morning and when I try to log my food intake it adds it as a totally different item!
For example it logs a dempsters everything bagel as crackers.
I’ve logged off & back on again & also shut down my phone but it does not help!

Having the same issue. Input my food items and they turn int something completely different. Last was like some German food items and toscana sauce Frustrating for sure. For now, I'm using the website to log my food which leaves a lot to be desired for UI wise. The mobile app is way better for this. Hope Fitbit gets it fixed soon.

@KateFitbit, don't you guys test your own product before releasing it to your customers?
Please have some decency in doing so please - this sort of problems can be easily picked up during testing (if the company even bothered with it) but instead WE - your customers ended up being the beta testers. Especially mad since I've got the Versa. What a disaster. Am using the windows desktop app to enter my food intake now.
I pity my fellow friends in the Android camp too - totally unacceptable that the apps sucked up lots of mobile data and Fitbit halfheartedly apologized without even solving the problems. Its been at least 3 days now since it happened

Same here.
Coffee with Skimmed milk is recording as Fortisip.
Porridge is Minestrone Soup
But my fave so far is, Skimmed Milk is showing as Jamaican Curry Patty.
Come on guys, get a grip.

Same issue with the food log. Would be great if your customers who invests so much money into your products would receive an estimation when the problem will be solved. Maybe in the meantime you offer the previous version and people can continue logging

C-R-Wilson i get the same problem after updating to version 2.53. Once i enter my food logs it immediately disappears (Even if you use the bar code scan option). The only way to log your food is through the website itself. This is after i logged out and in of the app, uninstalled it, rebooted iPhone 7. Nothing seems to work. I am assuming ALOT of others have been complaining about this same issue.

This is happening to me as well. Either my food log disappears as soon as I enter it- OR- it replaces it with a different food that is not anywhere in my food log- ie pretzels instead of crackers or mayo instead of cheese.
