MyFitnessPal not syncing with Fitbit app

I have tired EVERYTHING! My Fitbit Charge 2 and the app will not sync with the MyFitnessPal app I have on my iPhone.  I have revoked access and reconnected it three times and each time I had no success.  On the MyFitnessPal app it will say that I have the FitBit app connected, but there is no evidence of any communication between the two apps - none.  This is becoming SO frustrating as I have been looking forward to using both apps and the tracker to gain results in weight loss.  I am really at a loss on what to do, can anyone help me???

I'm having the same problem.  Everything was fine until about a week ago.  Now I have to fiddle around with the Charge 2 and iPhone and Mac every day to get it to sync.  I'm just tired of it, and it just doesn't seem to be worth the effort.
