New Inspire will not pair with iphone

I am aware of the compatibility issues. I spent 45 minutes on the phone with Fitbit customer support I could not resolve my issues. I just saw online that they apparently do have some sort of fixed but if I can’t get my Fitbit on all day sink because it won’t pair with my iPhone what am I supposed to do. The only option I can think of is to send it back I’ve only had it less than two weeks. It didn’t work and I could get messages and notifications and phone calls the first few days. Very frustrated and disappointed as I am a fairly long time Fitbit user and I’ve never dealt with anything this disturbing

Hello and welcome to the Fitbit Community @KCurly

I believe I can help. I have seen these steps here that has helped to get All Day Sync enabled. Hopefully it can help you as well.

go back to your systems app on your iOS device

-go to Bluetooth

-select your fitbit, another window opens and you choose to ‘forget this device’.

-close bluetooth window and then reopen it. Your fitbit will resync and select your fitbit and choose ‘share systems notifications’ again

Now select ‘all day sync’ on the fitbit app

Further information about notifications issues can be found here: https://community.fitbit.com/t5/iOS-App/Stopped-seeing-notifications-after-updating-to-iOS-13/td-p/3...

I have no idea “who“ you are but thank you for your help. I had already tried to delete and reinstall the inspire on my cell phone. That did not work I’ve also turn Bluetooth on and off several times and even once tried “forget this device“. But I was sitting in Kohl’s parking lot with my package and labels ready to return my inspired to Amazon, when your email popped up. So eager to have a working inspire, I went back home with your instructions in front of me. I had to revise them a bit but guess what, I was able to pair my phone for the first time in weeks. This is a start. They all day sink seems to be working for the first time in weeks and I am trying not to get too excited because I can’t take anymore disappointment! I will keep you posted but seeing that it’s paired with my iPhone was a very very major accomplishment

Well my Fitbit is paired with my phone and that was the major issue so I’m working on another problem which is not as drastic. But I can’t figure it out at all because it is totally different than my old charge. My Fitbit automatically counts my steps for the day. But sometimes like when I go to the indoor track I want to see how far I specifically walked, how many steps, on that event. I cannot figure out how to do that. On my old charger just pressed in the button until it Buster vibrated and then it switched over to a timer for the walk. I googled this and it says to tap in on the exercise setting on your inspire when you swipe down. I don’t see such a setting and I don’t even know what I’m looking for anymore can you help me? I feel like I’m totally draining you all of your expertise but you’ve been so helpful.

Hello again @KCurly

I’m happy to see you’re still syncing with your Fitbit Inspire 😃 I think this article will help answer your question: https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/1935/?q=Inspire+start+an+xercise&l=en_US&fs=Sear...

I wasn’t sure if you have the Fitbit Inspire or the Fitbit Inspire HR (starting an exercise can be different for each one) so I thought this might be extremely helpful:

Complete Manual for Fitbit Inspire: https://staticcs.fitbit.com/content/assets/help/manuals/manual_inspire_en_US.pdf

Complete Manual Fitbit HR: https://staticcs.fitbit.com/content/assets/help/manuals/manual_inspire_hr_en_US.pdf

😃 I would use the “find on this page” feature to find what you need in the manuals. I do hope this provides you with an answer. Please let me know. I hope you have an amazing weekend.

To See Your Stats

On certain devices, see basic stats about your activity, including duration and calories burned.
After your activity
sync your device and tap the Exercise tile in the Fitbit app. here is where you will find details about your activities.

Thank you. It is late here so I will work on this in the morning. Somehow once I texted you I lost my ability to receive calls and messages again. I was playing around with my Fitbit trying to find how to track a specific walk like on an indoor track and everything is still set up on my phone like it was. But now I’m not receiving notifications I have no idea what I did because it is synced and everything should be working. This is why I’m so frustrated I will keep you posted

I have the Inspire (not HR) and had the same issue about not being able to do all-day sync and therefore not able to receive notifications on calls and texts.  I tried various things that was suggested to troubleshoot, but none worked until I tried MegaBite's suggestion.  Thank you so much!!!!!!!!!
