Hello _ I've been trying to adjust to the new app. I miss the ability to see my steps, miles, etc week after week in one view. OK, I've accepted that. Now, as of today, the app no longer shows my heart rate info for an individual exercise session. All I see is a bar telling me how many 'zone' minutes I have for the day. I can see the information on the website version, but I'd like to see it on the app as I could before. Does anyone know if there's something I'm missing? I tried everything I could think of, but no luck. I'm very sad about it.

Hi everyone, and welcome to our new members.
Thank you for your continued reports regarding the issue with your Fitbit app. As you may know, the 4.08 version for the iOS Fitbit app was recently released and it should be available to all our users.
With this in mind, I'd recommend installing the latest version of the app and rebooting your phone to refresh the way the Fitbit app performs. Once that is done, try opening the exercise tile and let me know if your heart rate data is displayed for your activities.

I’m having this same problem - yesterday, within the iPhone app, I could see a breakdown of the different levels of zone minutes earned for each individual workout session but today I can now only see very basic information for each workout. Surely this information can’t have been removed from being visible on the app in this latest (dreadful!) updated version - that would be very silly as surely that’s one of the main points of the workouts/zone minutes tracking feature!
@Admin is this a temporary issue? If not, where can this detailed information for each workout now be found within the app?

@karenokaren I moved your post to the iOS app forum. This looks like a new bug in the iOS app. I notified a moderator to comment. There are many posts on this topic.
I certainly hope it’s a bug, because I lost data from older workouts.

Not a bug. It has been removed for some reason and Fitbit won’t even give an answer.

Hi there,
This new app is terrible, can we please just sort it now? It is not user-friendly and it is not accessible as it is so plain and difficult to use and decipher information.
The newest feature to be lost to the new app is the breakdown of HR during workouts. What is the point of a Fitbit if you can’t track your workouts and understand the data?
It used to look like this:
And it now looks like this:
Let’s be real. You cannot gather any understanding of your fitness through the second version.
Does Google/Fitbit not care about retaining customers? Most people will just switch to Apple.
When will the app be sorted? It has already been a couple of months. Please give us the option to revert to the old app, which worked fine.

Mine is only showing what is in the screenshot above - there’s no other data to swipe up/down on. Maybe it’s a glitch and will be updated. So far it only shows me what’s in the pic sadly!

Honestly, with every update, this just gets worse. I'm sure the ultimate goal is to strip away these features and charge you for them in premium. I am officially done with Fitbit. Once this dies, I'm out.

I don't have this either. Is this a premium feature?

I have premium but still can’t see any heart rate data. Same thing with my workout this morning 🥲

After latest update my exercise sessions don’t show my heart rate data that I had during my workouts. Did they remove this feature?

Noticed the same thing, not very happy with that new update.

@adh555 @J_Czk Are you using Android or iOS? I am on iOS and I can see my heart rate graph. I have noticed it can take a few seconds to populate right after the workout is complete. Here is a screenshot from my most recent walk.

iOS for me. Are you using google or fitbit to login? I’m still using my fitbit login and still no heart rate on my walk.

@J_Czk I use a Google account to login. Have you tried uninstalling the app and reinstalling to see if that fixes the issue?
Also, take a look at this thread. I believe it is a server lag issue/bug. https://community.fitbit.com/t5/iOS-App/Heart-rate-during-exercise/td-p/5501608

Thanks for sharing! One of the posts in there shared how it can be viewed So at least I can see it on the phone. Yesterday I uninstalled and reinstalled it but it still doesn’t show.

@J_Czk how do you track your walking? I see there is "Fitbit for iOS" as the source so you're not tracking it from the Exercise app on your watch, are you?

Thank you for the info this works. Don’t understand why they removed this info from the exercise log page itself???

I agree! I’ve adapted to some of the new features, but am disappointed (upset!) about exercise bout info is displayed! The old horizontal bar graphs with time spent in each heart rate zone were clear and useful. The new day-long graph and summary of exercise bout are useless, IMHO. Please, FitBit, listen to these complaints from loyal users.

I have noticed that there are three ‘versions’ of recorded exercise.
The automatic recognition of walking is labelled ‘Fitbit for iOS’ and shows no HR graph.
A retrospective logging of an exercise session is labelled’Fitbit for iPhone’ and shows no graph.
The workout session recorded real time on my sense is labelled ‘sense’ and does show HR graph.
This is daft…please sort it out. Did you do ANY beta testing of this latest update?
