No activity detail on IOS

hi there, i purchased a surge yesterday and paid my first visit to the gym with it this morning. I did three seperate sessions of workout, spin and weights recording all three seperately. When syncing with the app all it seems to show is the aggregated view accross the period - it doesnt not show the individual stats for each of the workouts. Loggin in online it does show that of course and is really great - but i'm surprised it doesnt have the same detail in the IOS app? Have i missed a setting somewhere - or is the website mobile optimised so you can get it that way anyway. Many thanks.

I use a surge. Within the Fitbit app I can no longer view past workout information, exercises, maps etc. it just says "great, we like what we are seeing". I used to be able to view maps from past workouts within this tile. How do I access this information on Fitbit phone app now?

I have exactly the same issue with Surge so, would also be interested in an answer to this.

I busted my butt on a run this morning and now can't view the run map, or mile splits...I definitely used to be able to access this info on the app.

I found another post ref the Fitbit server being down. It has since come back up.

I logged out of the app and logged back in and all the data was back.

Hi. A couple of days ago, I accidentally deleted an hour and a half block of logged exercise from my Fitbit app. For the last two days, when I log my exercise for each day by holding the button on the side of my fitbit, it hasn't shown up anywhere on my app upon completion. I am concerned that I may have accidentally deleted the whole "exercise" feature from my settings. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

@brightonwoody You should be able to see your workout summary on the iOS App too. If you click dashboard on the iOS App and then click "Track Exercise" you should see your workout history.

If for some reason your workout history isn't showing up, I'd recommend force quitting the Fitbit App by: rapidly double tapping your iOS home button > swipe left until you see a preview of the Fitbit App > swipe up on the preview to force close, and then reopen the Fitbit App.

Let me know if this help you out and welcome to the Community!

I am not seeing the workout details after I start the workout tracker and then stopping it. I see the time and calories burned but when I tap on it the exercise list is blank. I have the charge hr. My wife has the same and hers shows the break down and heart rate.

Hi @Remorris82,

Have you tried the troubleshoots mentioned my previous post?

If you already tried them and they were ineffective, I'd then recommend logging out of the Fitbit App and then logging back in.

Keep me posted if this gets you back on track!

It's great to see that you've visited the Fitbit Community @ImDatGuy18. Your recent exercise tile might be hidden. Please follow these instructions to show it up. If this doesn't work, I would recommend setting up your Charge HR as a replacement device. Hope this helps.

I moved this thread to the iOS app board because it is more related to the topic. Thanks for stopping by, see you around.

Tried that as well but no luck 😕 still only shows the time and avg HR of the exercise. When I tap it it shows no listing or breakdown of the HR and workout like the wife's.

Here is a little up date to my own troubleshooting. I uninstalled the all then reinstalled it. The activities were listed and so was the data, however after the app synced back with the Charge HR the exercises listed disappeared and I'm back at square one..... Help!?

The app will let me log my daily exercise like usual; however, when I go in to look at my completed exercise, it doesn't show any of it. The calendar that used to show which days of the week I had exercise tracked is also blank. Any idea how to fix this?

Hi @KaraAnn. You could try logging out of the Fitbit app, rebooting your phone then logging back in to the app. It is also worth ensuring that you have the latest version of the app installed. Hopefully this does the trick.

@Remorris82 Out of curiosity, what type of iOS device are you using and what iOS version is it running (ie iOS 8, iOS 9.2, etc)?

Also, do your workouts show up on your Fitbit.com workout log?

Lastly, I'd double check to make sure that your iOS device has a strong internet connection.

Hope this helps you out!

My wife and I both have iOS 9.2 and an iPhone 6 Plus. We both are on the same network as well. I can see the tracked exercises on my dashboard on the website but not in the phone. So it leads me to believe to be an app issue not charge HR..... I use to have a flex but that has been removed so not sure if that is affecting the data sync with the app.

Another thing I found odd and not sure if it is affecting the apps ability to retrieve the data from Fitbit.com. I can see my activities/exercises in the dashboard but when I go to my profile in the top left it does not show my logged activities or records. I then go to settings -> privacy and under Activites it has Hide numbers. I try to remove that check mark however every time I save that setting it defaults back to check mark in that field..... So in my Dashboard and or Activities under Log show all my Activity Hostory. But the profile or my app do not reflect these details.
