Hi everyone.

Let me immediately say "what .a big frustration"!

Just got the Fitbit Versa. It is my first Fitbit product.

Well....completely unable to pair it with my iPhone 7 (iOS 11.3 installed).

I checked my bluetooth and it works fine with other devices that I try to pair.

I am waiting a lot of time but the phone does not see the watch.

Please, an help would be highly appreciated before giving it back and buy an Apple watch.

Thanks. Bye

Hey Sorry to hear you are having problems with the Best Fitbit on the market. At this point you have gotten into the system of things. So you may need to call Fitbit Services to get them to move you all the way. Good luck and enjoy when you get there. 🖖🏾👣👣

Hello,

i just gor got the Fitbit Versa today and am trying to set it up. I don’t have any devices paired to my Bluetooth and have reinstalled and force quit the app multiple times and it still won’t sync. I would like to get this set up today. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

While appreciate your comments on trying to get the fitbit to sync to an iphone, this work around did not work for me.

Hi
Just check that your Fitbit hasn’t just paired itself to your iPad via Bluetooth.
That was what was behind my trouble. I had trouble for weeks - I had no idea, never any need for it to connect to the iPad. Even now occasionally it will do that but now I just check.

I hope you find out what is happening to yours. Very frustrating indeed.

Cheers
Toni

Oh but I wish that would have been the case but it refuses to pair to
anything. I am going to try opening a new account to see if that works.
Thanks for your response.

this has been taken care of....Fitbit had to send me a new Versa because no
matter what we did, the old one would not connect to it's own app or my
phone.

Got a replacement tracker and I’m having the same issues I’ve deleted and reinstalled Fitbit application, restarted phone and device and still no luck after 12hrs.  This is very frustrating 🥺

Hey this is Joshua Herring and my Fitbit Versa is not connected with my iPhone 8+

This worked for me:

Turn off Bluetooth (on phone)

Reboot Versa (hit left and bottom right buttons simultaneously for 10 full seconds)

Hit left button ( to turn on)

Make sure notifications is turned on (in settings)

Turn Bluetooth on

Sync (on phone)

Hope that works for you, I have iPhone X

Thanks Orrknot,

I don’t think Fitbit could afford me. But you are most welcome if my way of thinking helps you out. Double thumbs up

My Versa was receiving notifications from my iPhone until some time ago. Recently I realized it does not show notifications from calls/messages anymore. I really don't know why. Maybe this has happened after installing the new Fitbit App? I've searched here for solutions and I've found one that says to first Forget the versa in the Bluetooth but I don't have that option for the Versa (while I have for other paired devices). Any ideas? Thank you very much in advance.

Not sure what is happening but it must be very frustrating.
You do have to have bluetooth on with your phone because that's how you get messages to your Versa (as long as you are not too far away from where your phone is). In my original post, my versa was connecting to my iPad, but I could NOT get it to connect to my iPhone which is for me, ideal because you get the message notifications and know when someone is trying to call you on the phone when you are somewhere where you can't take a call or have the phone on silent. You get a little vibration on your wrist and can look at the Fitbit discreetly if you are at work or in a meeting. I had weeks of frustration with this. I thought there was a problem with my new iPhone & had even booked to see the Apple "genius".

Thankfully, I found out through the Fitbit help page that the Fitbit can only be paired to ONE device at a time. So for me I tapped Bluetooth off on my iPad and immediately the Fitbit paired to the iPhone.

Thanks for your reply.

The problem is that I used to receive the notifications from the iPhone on my Versa, it was functioning very well, never had any problems at all pairing the devices. However I have recently noticed that it was not receiving notifications from the iPhone anymore so something must have happened in the meantime. Unfortunately I don’t have a clue for the reason. I’m guessing it could be the update of the Fitbit App, but I’ve deleted and installed it several times now without success. My Versa is only connected to the iPhone and Bluetooth is working fine with other devices but now I don’t have the option to forget the Versa as I had before. So I don’t know what to do to pair the Versa again. Hope I made myself clear 🙂

I just received my Versa 2 days ago.  I have followed all of the steps provided (multiple times in fact) and I'm still unable to pair it with my iPhone X, which is running on iOS 13.1.2.  I'm extremely frustrated and disappointed.  Are there any other solutions you can provide?
