Readiness data gone and no longer logging

When I installed the recent update I opened the app and got a message saying that improvements had been made to the readiness score, making it more accurate and it will be available it non-premium members (I have premium). However, my readiness no longer shows and all previous data has gone. It just says “calibrating” and “wear your Fitbit for 7 more nights”. But it’s been saying that for nearly a week.
I’ve logged out, back in. Rebooted phone. Deleted and reinstalled the app. I’ve completely removed my device, reset it and re-added it. Nothing has fixed it.

Anyone else had this?

What a joke now it won’t record my walk this morning and when I manually add it so that my nutracheck pulls info through Fitbit adds it and then when you open app again it’s gone !
I wouldn’t mind but I have just bought my 5th Fitbit 10 weeks ago as I thought mine was knackered ! If I hadn’t just bought it I’d move to garmin now ! We pay £8.99 a month for this rubbish

Same. I have spent hours in the phone with customer service and they seem clueless to this issue which is extremely disappointing.

they say its “temporary”.

My readiness score returned, as well as the historical info.

Did it just return by happenstance or did you have to fiddle with it? Mine started showing that business when we got back from the races and I thought it was because of having a few days of no signal, but it’s been well over weeks since we got home and Nothing. My historical data is all gone too.

Randomly, or did you do some sort of update?

How long did it take to reappear?

Hi everybody! Thank you for your messages and efforts.

Our team has been monitoring this and informed me that this should be solved.
Please make sure that you have the latest Fitbit app installed.

I would also suggest you all to have a look at this.

How do I set up daily readiness as an existing readiness user?

The help article is confusing at best.  It’s been a week or more since I updated and the readiness score is still “calibrating” despite restarting and reinstalling everything multiple times,  just how long do I have to wait for the new score to calibrate? And what happened to all my previous data?

Hi Juan,

I have no new version of FitBit in the App Store (IOS) this morning to install. The latest version in the store is 4.26 from 1 week ago and that is what I have installed. The issue is still there this morning.
What version of the app should we be on for this issue to be resolved? Has the version been released to IOS App Store? When will it be released ?

please advise ASAP.
thanks

@Jensta @mwoz2 , Thank you for your replies.

@mwoz2 You might notice your readiness scores for previous days change after you update the Fitbit app.

@Jensta ,Thank you for the info. At this time the 4.26 is the current version for iOS. So you don't need to update it.

  • Please restart your phone. (off/on again )
  • From the Today tab in the Fitbit app, tap the Daily readiness tile.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to get started.
  • Wear your device for at least 7 nights of sleep.
  • Check the Daily readiness tile

in the Fitbit app to view the time remaining until your first score is available.

Hi Juan,

The issue is that we are all long time historical users of Fitbit who have already waited 7 nights for data to appear from when Daily Readiness was launched months/years ago. We all have lots of historical readiness data that has “disappeared”. Since Sep 20th, I have been waiting 7 nights - the number 7 is not decreasing at all with each day that passes. If the issue has been resolved, all our historical data should be showing in our apps and it still isn’t. We shouldn’t have to “get started” again with Daily Readiness. We all have months of Readiness data that was showing before Sep 20th and now isn’t showing. I have re-started my phone and nothing is different.

So, as far as I’m concerned, this issue is definitely NOT resolved.

Please provide further updates and do not close the thread as it isn’t resolved yet.

FWIW: Need to report it from the app (“feedback”) not just here in this blog.

Same here and also I have an iPhone and IOS so the issue is not limited to android which is what the “chat” person told me.

I’ve done these steps multiple times.  My historic scores are still missing and the 7 day countdown doesn’t budge.  The problem isn’t solved in 4.26

So today I noticed that I can see my readiness score on my Fitbit itself, and I can see my historical data but the main page of that tile still shows calibrating, so there is a bit of a work around if you go into this week it will show that morning score but it won’t show all of the wherewithal that it’s supposed to be showing too, I’m hoping that in the next few days it will turn up the way it’s supposed to.

I wish.  Nothing any where and it’s been like this since the 17th.  Nothing on my device, nothing in the app, no history.  Nothing.   This problem isn’t solved.  And I AM DONE with this company.  There is no customer service and they don’t even have the decency to admit that the broke it.  I’m not paying for this anymore.

Just got an email from Fitbit saying the issue was fixed and to ensure you have the most recent version.

However, it’s STILL NOT WORKING for me.

Hi dwin and all, sorry at the start of this thread I realized I'm android and this was an iOs post, but I was having same issue. I have a Versa4, and on my android phone (Samsung) the readiness scores reappeared a few days ago, and today I still see it.

Could it be it's working now for android, but not for iOs yet?  Sorry for any confusion.
