Readiness data gone and no longer logging

When I installed the recent update I opened the app and got a message saying that improvements had been made to the readiness score, making it more accurate and it will be available it non-premium members (I have premium). However, my readiness no longer shows and all previous data has gone. It just says “calibrating” and “wear your Fitbit for 7 more nights”. But it’s been saying that for nearly a week.
I’ve logged out, back in. Rebooted phone. Deleted and reinstalled the app. I’ve completely removed my device, reset it and re-added it. Nothing has fixed it.

Anyone else had this?

Hi everybody ! Thank you for  your reports.

Have you tried the steps and instructions described here: How do I set up daily readiness as an existing readiness user?

Yes still no joy

I updated my app last night and now it’s not logging my walks properly and I’m not getting texts to my Fitbit 😱

Yes.  Still nothing and still missing ALL my historical data.

Hi,

I'm the original poster.  I just checked the iOS AppStore and noticed there was an update, so I installed it.  After install I checked the app but it still shows no readiness data and the message "Wear you fitbit for 7 more nights".  I also tried rebooting my iPhone, but made no difference.  I also looked at the instructions in your link, however they weren't relevant to me, as I've already set up readiness in the app previously.

Regards

Mine too!  What the heck?  How do we figure out how to fix it?

Hi Juan,

it’s getting very frustrating that support don’t seem to be understanding what we are saying.

1) We are not new users to Readiness and have already “set it up” months ago. There is nothing for us to “set up”. We don’t get any on screen instructions to do anything when we tap on the tile.

2) We have no historical data showing anymore. The article says we might notice our previous scores “change” - well we have no previous scores showing at all. They haven’t “changed”, they have all been wiped out.

3) We are all seeing the “No score - wait for 7 nights message” - but we have now all been waiting for at least 7 nights since this “new calculation” update was made (can you please tell us the exact date this change was made please so we know?). A user reported seeing their data disappear on Sep 17th so it’s been more than 7 days since then and nothing has changed and the message stays the same every time I wake up the next day.

4) This post thread keeps growing which should tell you that your developers have not fixed the issue and they need to perhaps revert back to the old way that Fitbit was calculating the score because this new way is buggy and not working for anyone!!!!

5) I have noticed today that if I click on the Week tab (not Day), I can see one score but when I click on Today - 50, it takes me to the still calibrating screen - why doesn’t it show me the detail behind the score like the old readiness section did? (Ie. Where is my HRV info?)
And you can see - no historical data is there at all.

I get the “still calibrating” screen when I click on Today - 50. ??? Where is the detail behind the score? HRV data etc.

Me too I’ve done all that and I have a charge six and I’ve had it since 2022 premium membership in every all of its wiped out from all the years all of it, it shows exactly like yours I would’ve liked to have kept my past I just don’t understand why they would’ve wiped out the years before I understand maybe waiting a week. It’s also messed up my sleep score a couple times since then but now it seems to be straightened up for a minute. I don’t mind updates, but I don’t like wiping out my past history so I can look back

Thanks because some of us have gotten nowhere. I hope they get it straightened up. I am paying premium for the last couple years. I don’t mind updates, but I don’t like all my past histories being wiped out actually I hope they still have it I’m sure they do😵💫

Hi Juan and everyone else in the thread.

OK. 5 minutes later when I checked my phone, the detailed data miraculously appeared in the Day tab. See screenshot below

So - Juan - there is still one issue from my perspective - where are all our historical scores ? Why are they not showing up?

thanks

Hi Juan,

New problem. When I click on “See Trends” , the app tries to take me to the old screen where we used to see the trends but doesn’t stay on it. You can see in this screenshot I have captured it disappearing (the ticks on the right is the old screen disappearing from view immediately after I have pressed the See Trends green link. It just flicks straight back to the Home Screen and I can’t see my historical trend information. This is the main issue - we need our historical data to be showing. The new Readinesd Calculation should not have wiped out all our historical data and it has.

I dont even a score on the week or year tab.  Just no score for everything despite having had premium for years.  So no, this hasn’t been fixed by the developers.

Hi

this morning my readiness score for todua has appeared but no historical data

I have one readiness score and no history. I must admit they are making it
very easy to walk away from FitBit, I was worried about transferring my
history when I switched brand, but there wouldn’t be anything to transfer
anyway. I may just go to a normal watch, I pretty much know how I’m doing
after 8 years of tracking.

They should refund all Premium users. There is nothing premium about this
anymore - it’s like having to work with dial up in a Wi-Fi world.

I hope this is positive news. I downloaded Fitbit version 4.26.1 a couple of days ago and today I noted that the readiness score countdown has gone from seven days to six days. I am a blind user and I have dictated this on my cell phone and hope you will be able to understand my ramblings. I am using an iPhone SE third generation running 18.0. In this case, it appears that Fitbit has listened to its users and hopefully for those who have prior readiness score data, it will be restored. However, based on prior experience, historical data is not generally restored.
