Why are the sleep scores and data displayed differently? I assume it’s the new ios update, but I preferred the former presentation.

The new layout is ugly and not at all user friendly. You can’t even see it in landscape format. It’s fiddly to see the information and the old one was much better. Please change it Fitbit!

I completely agree! Very disappointed...

Now my sleep tracker doesn’t track my sleep. It’s at least half as ACCURATE. Fitbit has dumbed down the Fitbit software hoping to get users to move to another Google product line. They can see the amount of discord by subscribers/users on this site. There are zero replies by Fitbit. Why don’t they comment on here or fix the Fitbit software service? They destroyed a service annual subscribers ALREADY paid for and we aren’t receiving what we already purchased. Does the fine print say you can destroy the value of the product AND the annual service that we purchased? I’m looking for a new device… Apple Watch, Google sent me. I’d like to know minimally how many hours I sleep (how hard is that to mess up?) and the Fitbit no longer reports this with accuracy with the new software. It changed exactly at the time of the software DOWNGRADE. I’m on my phone typing and it said I was sleeping.

I couldn’t agree with you more. The site is hard to read and just plain ugly. You need to go back to the original one. I’m hoping that this gets addressed.

I completely agree!
The new sleep is not good! The older version was much better. Please revert back.

logged in here to see if it was just me - it seems many people are disappointed with the sleep update
as a web designer and someone that designs for screen - it is definitely a fail - why remove data that was visible at first glance previously? (%'s)
it's definitely a bit of an eyesore too

You are not the only one. You pay for premium then they give you a downgraded sleep display. I think we should complain about it on live chat.

It’s really mind boggling to me that the all powerful google doesn’t do basics of testing new designs with users to get feedback.
This design comes across like something developed by tech engineers who don’t use/understand consumer needs & then pushed by behemoth corporation, consumers be d*mned.

Absolutely! I hope they don't touch the Weight section! If they do I may
leave Fitbit. How sad that Google took over Fitbit and now are destroying
it. 😢

Yes, many of us want to see it go back, but Google says that it can't.
That's absurd! They could if they wanted to.

Ineffective protest votes. Google does what they want and they know there is nothing we can do about it. Tempest in a teapot. Give up and comply. Big Brother is too powerful. Signing off....

I hate this new version of the sleep score!! It was so much easier to read before they went and changed it all. The sleep score is the main reason I pay for premium, I look forward to reading it every morning, now it just pisses me off. Change it back! Now it’s just stupid looking

I agree this is not an improvement. It doesn’t present the information as well, and it is bland and boring.

I have even more complaints about the new system. Not only does the Fitbit app display garbage, but it no longer detects or reports naps and even misses a short period of sleep before bedtime. Before these engineers modified the sleep system, I could take a nap mid-day, and so long as the duration was about an hour or longer, it would show up in my sleep data. Not anymore. I also discovered that if I fall asleep in my chair for 1+ hours, then wake up and have a somewhat long time, say quarter to half hour before I go to bed, the app doesn't recognize and record that sleep period. It did previously. Since I've seen no corrections to the app since my first post, I suggest all of us call Fitbit support and bitterly but respectfully complain about the lousy garbage they've foisted on us. But give me 15 minutes, because I'm calling NOW!!

That’s exactly what has happened to me and I spoke to them and complained and got an email which told me to reinstall the app, as expected it made no difference . One night I fell asleep for 4 hours woke up for an hour and then slept for 5 hours 10 minutes . My sleep app only had 5 hours 10 minutes . Before it was spot on, I think Fitbit don’t care at all about their customers. Who ever designed the new app was obviously a very inexperienced person who randomly decided to destroy the very easy to understand app and change it to almost matching pastel colours so it difficult to read at a glance and added lots of striped lines for good measure , looks like a faded barcode .Still pretty upset they have done this,

Back with an update. If anything, the sleep section has gotten so much worse even since the original screwed up update with the ugly and unreadable formatting. Now it’s not even counting my sleep properly. Times when I know for a fact, I’m asleep it’s counting me as awake. When being charged, that time is counted as asleep. This is getting so bad that I’m actually looking at getting an Apple Watch. It would have to wait because so much $$. But what’s the point in keeping a Fitbit, if it’s no longer giving me the information that I need?
When an independent app gets swallowed up by a massive corporation, it seems to take a massive nosedive. Has anyone else noticed that?
