Why are the sleep scores and data displayed differently? I assume it’s the new ios update, but I preferred the former presentation.
Moderator Edit: Clarified subject
I could not agree more.
I hope Google realizes they will loose paying customers on this. If the user experience keeps degrading then I will stop paying for extra services that are now useless.
I agree with your comments. I have enjoyed using the Sleep Data for years as a Premium Member and now find the format very difficult to use. I cannot move the cursor across the time bar to learn when my sleep stages were noted.
I would like to have the old format back. We are looking at other tracker options. We have been loyal Fitbit users since they came out. The experience with the new display is very disappointing.
Best AnswerTotally agree. If you find another tracker that you prefer please put it on here. Both myself and my husband have a Fitbit and are very disappointed over the new sleep screen. I will be looking at Apple Watches now as we are already iPhone users.
Updates often destroy good things.
nerds sitting around trying to find something of value to do create new versions of things that simply put suck. And god forbid anyone asks the consumer. This consumer wil be buying a different product today.
honestly , not sure how accurate it was anyway. Nights I would dream like crazy and it would say 12 min of REM and nights I didn’t 2 hrs and 30 min of rem.
And not only is the updated sleep section impossible to read, it seems to be calculating my time asleep incorrectly. I might finally have to get myself an Apple Watch after nearly 10 years with Fitbit. It’s just too frustrating.
It's not taken too long to get to the point where I give up on the Fitbit as a sleep tracker and look at other solutions for sleep. I'll be spending money I don't want to, for something not quite as good as what I had, that presents me with another ecosystem to manage.
This is not just a quibble over UX or look and feel. The product functionality is now broken and it only tracks continuous sleep.
Has there been any response from developers or product owners on this issue, does anyone know?
Agreed! I will not buy a google tracker!
I don’t want to leave Fitbit but im
shopping around. They had better switch the dash back.
@slick_mama, that's what I suspect is happening: They're attempting to starve fitbit and consolidate the product line so it's just PixelWatch. It was probably their strategy from the start. They don't need the costs associated with the two product lines, and fitbit cuts into their PixelWatch market. I have an Apple Watch and although I prefer my fitbit for fitness/sleep tracking I plan to switch tracking to the Apple Watch when my subscription expires.
Aren’t you ashamed of this Sleep display job? It’s horrid and he thousands of messages should show you it is a massive failure. And you say we can’t go back! Are you sure? Because there will be a stampede of users leaving Fitbit and/or quitting premium! I won be paying for premium as I was doing it for the sleep data. I can’t deal with the plain, busy, ugly thing this now.
@RJMCC There are enough pixels in that thing to make me EVER buy a Google PixelWatch after this agregious debacle! I will never buy Google based on how this has gone down.
I'm glad to know I'm not the only one, it is so difficult to read this new layout. It hurts my eyes and it's so hard to focus on details. I'm with you, the sleep tracking is one of the main things I use my Fitbit for, and now this update is so disappointing.
