Why are the sleep scores and data displayed differently? I assume it’s the new ios update, but I preferred the former presentation.
Moderator Edit: Clarified subject
Absolutely agree,
It's unreadable. I understand the UI/UX people need to keep themselves busy but not at the cost of legibility. They took a very well optimised and clear interface and made it look cool with no regard to what the thing is suppose to actually do, DELIVER CLEAR INFORMATION!
It's just embarrassing 🤦
I’m just here to complain 😅 hopefully someone reads it and reacts. The sleep analysis hasn’t changed for years. Probably for a good reason. Now it totally sucks and its pretty hard to read as you said
I look at this while I’m waking up to see the data and it looks like Fitbit dumbed down the graphics and data in a way that makes it no longer worth the subscription fee. Please put back the version prior to April 2024 or I’m leaving, even after just paying for a full year. Who needs the aggravation. I can’t see the color difference on some of it with the lights out and I see quite well up close. Why would you pick colors in two shades of purple and I’m on an Apple and there’s no way to differentiate on a graph. How did this software pass through a team of people? Where is the quality team or the market research prior to launch? Major mistake unless you’re trying to shut down the brand. I PAID FOR A FULL YEAR in JAN and I’M NO LONGER GETTING WHAT I PAID FOR. Fitbit/Google- PLEASE TELL ME HOW I CAN GET A REFUND or a pro-rated refund. I HAVE PAID FOR 8 more MONTHS and am not getting what I PURCHASED. DOES the fine print say you can basically shut down services and charge me the same?
My sleep design changed this morning and it is awful. I don’t know where their quality control is but clearly absent. The prior version was a perfect 10 and this version is a 1 at best. Difficult to look at, which makes it confusing. Please bring the old version back and keep it that way. Why change a good thing? Many Fitbit users mostly use it for the sleep chart including myself. Many Fitbit users hate it and will never post on this community forum so trust me when I say you must bring the old format back if you want happy Fitbit users that will recommend the product to family and friends, like I have.
As others have said, the new sleep format is barely usable for me. If this change was truly for accessibility reasons, then that’s a great option for those who need it. It shouldn’t be at the expense of everyone else though. Simply give users a choice of which version to use and everyone will be happy.
Yes! this is crazy, looks like someone made a change just to justify their job. There are enough real issues to fix, it looks like these kids otta school have lost touch with a great part of their customer base, so has google in general.
Doesn’t anyone take time to do some research before implementing such awful changes?? It’s like we need to amend just to show we continue to make our product relevant. I already cancelled my Premium subscription upon renewal.
The update to the sleep data is HORRIBLE. I bought the fitbit for these details and now Google has taken away the breathing details and made the sleep details absurdly hard to read. If I were younger I'd start a new company to offer something like what fitbit used to be: a useful fitness watch and sleep tracker. Called customer service and they apologized and understand but their hands are tied because they are now directed by Google and have no say. I'm done with fitbit and will search for an alternative that isn't google owned. Anyone have suggestions for alternatives to a fitbit?
New sleep screens are not easy to read if you are over 35. Additionally, the simple act of editing my nightly sleep requires more clicks. New interface fails on multiple levels. Harder to see key data and as well as ease of editing its to compensate for its "auto" tracking which has also degraded with this update. Good job google. Maybe the next update will be better. PS the Fitbit app before google was better and you could have saved millions to by not paying your coding staff to write these poorly designed updates!
I agree with others that the new sleep score layout is not anywhere near as good as the old one. I don't like it at all. I hope you reconsider the change and go back to the last format.
Do you remember that show “Are you smarter than a 5th grader?”…
I think ya’ll should have had a 5th grader design your new sleep stage graph, they would have done a better job! I will be looking at Apple watch unless you change it back.
