Fitbit Update 08/14/2017: Everyone -- Several iOS users have reported receiving the FBBluetoothErrorDomain error 18 when attempting to update their trackers on the latest version of the Fitbit app for iOS, version 2.39. Our team is currently aware of this issue and working on a fix for this. I appreciate you taking the time to report this issue.
As @Rich_Laue asked here, can someone please share a screenshot of the error message as well as letting me know the following details:
I will pass this information along to our Product Specialist who will provide me with an update and I will make sure to convey that to you all. Thanks again for your reports. More information coming soon!
Having the same issue when trying to update Fitbit Blaze. Have tried "Try Again" multiple times. Have disabled bluetooth, disconnected all other bluetooth devices, force quit app, reset blaze via the left hand button and lower right hand button.
Using iOS with the latest version of the Fitbit app. Current version on the blaze is 8.301.7. Version of app is 2.39 (691). Latest version of iOS.
Best AnswerJust bought a new Flex 2 yesterday and am still trying to set it up. I was finally able to sync it today but am unable to update the tracker. Am getting the error 18 message. I have tried everything short of standing on my head, but might try and see if that helps. Meanwhile, back to wearing my ancient Flex. Flex 2 version 24.10.4, iOS version 10.3.3 on iPhone 6, Fitbit App version 2.39.

Best AnswerI had the same problem with a flex 2 that I bought today. While on the phone with fitbit support I read a post to place in the charging cable that was connected to a charging source and rapidly press the reset button on the end of the cable three times. I then retired the update while it was still on the charger and it did update the flex 2. I hope that helps.
Best AnswerJust tonight, I've not been able to get my FitBit to sync. I've reset the Charge 2, completely disconnected it from the account and removed it as a device that connects to my iPhone 7 and my iPad Pro. Nothing has worked--it won't sync. I don't any error message, just that I need to make sure the device is powered, turned on, and no other trackers/devices are near.
Best AnswerOn the little charger charger you get with the Fitbit. The end you plug into USB
Best AnswerUpdate: After trying for 3 days to get the Flex2 set up, I gave up and returned the Fitbit and exchanged it for a new one. Just finished setting it up, and after only 1 error message, it's working great. Obviously had a defective Fitbit.
Best AnswerAdd me to the list of people having problems. I got a Flex 2 yesterday. I've tried removing and reinstalling the app, hitting the retry button several times.
App version: 2.39(691)
iOS 10.3.3
I'm also having problems syncing but not sure it's related.
Best AnswerI just did what you did and it worked for me (clicking on Try Again several times).
