Update 7/13/2018: Hi Everyone! We should be back to normal in the next day or so, but you may see a slight delay with your friend's leaderboard updating. Thanks again for your patience and reports.


Update 7/13/2018: Hi Everyone! We made some updates last night that should help improve this issue. Please try syncing and logging out and back in. If you are still experiencing this issue please let me know.


Update 7/12/2018: Hi Everyone - I've merged a few posts together. Thanks for your reports on the friend leaderboard not updating or updating slowly. I've reported this to our team and will let you know once I've heard further.

I think this happened after they updated App. It seems this update with some bugs to cause these issues. Please the support team fix these issues for us as soon as you can.

I am also having issues with the leaderboard updating accurate steps.

Same thing here. Updated iOS yesterday to 11.4.1. And updated to the most recent Fitbit app. after that. That’s when the problem  started.

Fitbit Versa - 7 day total not updating in app or dashboard. I've un-synced fitbit, deleted app, reinstalled app, re-synced fitbit... Still not updating.

Food still not logging! Contacted Fitbit and was told they’d sort it. Still waiting! It’s strange how you come to rely on these things. Now I’m going to have to do it in my head!

I hope you have a better outcome than a lot of us!!!! Trouble shoot is not working for I imthing 99.9 percent of us!!! Good luck cause I got the same question asked to do the same thing that they are asking you to do too!!! .  My outcome is that it’s still not working along by with logging in my food!!! 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡. Apple Watch or garmin is looking better and better. Since Fitbit can’t get there act together and these kind problems are an on going problem like almost monthly.

I fixed mine by turning off my phone Bluetooth and turning it on again.

That's exactly when my problem started - on Monday! It does not update on my phone or my computer. I am going to attach a photo of the instructions I received from a Fitbit Support Person. Tried it and not really sure if it worked.

Uninstalling and reinstalling the Fitbit app, turning off my Fitbit and phone, still didn’t work. 

Wasn't worth uninstalling as you lose all your stats and data, and to set it up from new with a new email address, very frustrated!!!

Night updated at midnight but now still not working correctly I’m 20,000 steps down. Come on Fitbit sort it out
