I'm having the same problem with my flex.  I've had 3 replacements since purchasing my Flex in July. How do I know if i have the iOS 2.39 update. My app says Version 81. I can't find 2.39 update anywhere. When was this iOS 2.39 update?

In addition to my tracker not holding a charge for  more than a day, My mobile app will not show my steps as my main goal--it shows calories as my main goal, however, it does show steps as my main goal on my laptop and I can't figure out how to fix it.

Same issue - response from Fitbit totally unacceptable. Mines less than 8 months old and currently stuck in its box as it only remains charged for 5/6 hours.

Alarmed to see that this has been going on a while. Surely they should have a fix by now and why is it only affecting certain people all by the sounds using different types of Fitbit. I'm not convinced and not happy with the response so far.

I certainly would not recommend Fitbit to anyone else after the customer service I've received in relation to this. As far as I'm aware I haven't updated the app to a new version so am baffled as to how it can be this that's causing the issue!

I have to add myself to the list of those having problems with the Charge HR not holding A charge. My Charge HR is fairly new, and hasn't had this problem since recently. So while my FitBit is no longer being logged out, I am having problems with the battery keeping a charge more than a day or two. So add me to the list. Please let me know any suggestions that might help.

Try turning off all day sync. This has helped many of us, but it still is having trouble holding a charge like it used to. I'm not an admin just a frustrated Fitbit user like you. 😀

Thank you. I didn't find an all day sync setting in the iOS FitBit app. I'm trying no background refresh on the app. If there is a setting I missed, please let me know!

The recommend fix, turning off auto refresh does not seem to work. They say
they are working on it.

I've been fighting the battery issue for over a week now and didn't think much of it....more texts/alerts maybe than normal. The last two days it's not holding any longer than 24 hours.

In addition - the detailed sleep report has quite tracking.

On my IOS Fitbit app if you touch the battery indicator in the top left hand corner it will take you the page that has the All-Day Sync setting. I turned mine off and it has  helped a little. Hopefully they will find a fix soon!

Hi I am having similar problems. Latest example I fully charged yesterday and by13.00hrs today Monday it is recording Low battery level and I cannot charge until I get home from work. I should not need to charge everyday which is what is happening

I ended up calling FitBit, as my sleep was not tracking either, and they're replacing my watch.

I love my Fitbit and the customer service, but I just can't seem to get one to last longer than a year.

LynRay,

That did help - thank you.

I did call Fitbit and they're replacing my watch saying I have a battery drain issue.

Fitbit says they are working on it but in the meantime, you can try disabling the ALL-DAY Sync. It has helped me some.

Can you make the prior version of the fitbit app available to affected users until the battery issue is resolved?

Best Answer

What's the status of the "one" battery drain issue?  Is there a resolution forthcoming?

Best Answer

Anyone else having other problems apart from battery drain such as not vibrating when reaching goals or the silent wake up

I'm just fed up with the whole thing. Lost another days activity in my
health insurance is tied to this thing. I'm going to find another solution
because it's been nearly a month but this is been going on.

I did asked Fitbit the same question. They said not possible to revert back to the previous version.

I have given up and bought another brand fitness tracker last week. Fully Charge one time and the battery last for 8 days!

What brand did you buy? I'm shopping now.

My wife and I are experiencing same, every 2nd day it needs charging compare to 7.

We thought it was just us but now based on reading others don't think so.

Hi I have been advised to charge via the computer and reset using a paper clip in the hole at the back of the pebble (I have a flex so it maybe you have a different reset).  I was also advised to turn off the all day syncing. This is being monitored by the Fitbit team but so far the battery seems to be holding its charge
