This is getting ridiculous. Followed the steps when the issue first came up and It worked for a week. Now nada though I have reset numerous times.
I had to upgrade my phone since I had an iPhone 6 which wasn’t going to be supported anymore by my work.

Oh gosh, I haven’t updated to ios 13 yet. Maybe I shouldn’t! 🤭
I finally gave in and updated to ios 13, and there have been 2 or more minor updates since then. Everything is now working great! I find it a bit weird than when I make or receive a call my fitbit vibrates; but perhaps I can turn that off in my settings.
Hope everyone who had trouble has got it all cleared up by now, too.

Cute name
Yes. I have removed the app. Turned the phone off. Re-added it. Nothing!
I restarted, rebooted, added two new Fitbits. No change.
I have manipulated the notification setting and still nothing.
It’s extremely frustrating. I have this item I spent over $190 . I’m
extremely disappointed.

After all the time I’ve spent on the phone with “technical” support, I can assure you that they are incapable of honesty and transparency. But they’re really good at meaningless apologies? Guess it’s time to bring back the old school analog watch.

I removed my Charge 3 from Bluetooth, and also deleted it in my fitbit App. I then re-added it as a ‘new’ device; then made sure it was synched via Bluetooth with my iPhone. It took a few times; but - being the tenacious sort of person - I just kept trying until it worked.
Good luck! 🍀

I’ve recently installed iOS 13 (a week ago) and my Fitbit Surge is no longer tracking my sleep. This just started two days ago as it worked for a while after the update. This is my favorite feature of the watch. I’ve tried all the suggestions and nothing has worked.
Beyond this frustration this is also my 5th Surge because the band keeps bubbling up after a month or two of wear. I’ll be honest and say that I love Fitbit, I love the app but this is getting to be ridiculous. I’ve tried the iwatch and it’s doesn’t appeal to me but at least it works and at least I didn’t have to replace it 5 times.
Can someone at Fitbit please help?

Make sure you have your bluetooth on your phone "Forget this device " 1st. You do not need to remove app. Make sure your device is off the bluetooth list on your phone. Then go to the fitbit app on your phone. Preview has to be on.

Under settings on your phone, go to bluetooth, click to the i to the right of your device name, click Forget your fitbit device on the bluetooth, do again if it continues to be listed under bluetooth. Go to your fitbit app on your phone follow the prompts to re pair your fitbit device and your phone blue tooth. Make sure your bluetooth is turned on, on your phone. All day sync under the fitbit app needs to be on also to receive messages throughout the day.

If it makes all of you iOS people feel any better, the Fitbit app isn't working properly on Android 10 either.....
