Good point - my last notification was on May 29. At that point I had an ancient iPhone 5S that used to notify me in the Fitbit device (via vibration) when I had a phone call or text. Unfortunately that feature disappeared MONTHS ago, and I thought it was my phone. But recently I purchased a new iPhone (major upgrade) and it doesn't send any notifications/vibrations to the Fitbit either. Of course I've tried all the suggested fixes from Fitbit without any luck 🙄
Best AnswerThank you! My notifications messages show preview is on always. I checked everything I could think of and nothing 😫😢
Best AnswerChecked my iOS settings and versa setting all are displays correct and still no text messages alerts. 😢😫
Best AnswerCan you please let us know how can you have back your messages in your Fitbit? I just tried everything and nothing is working. I have Blaze. Thanks
Best AnswerThe last update we have gotten is from October 9th. Please provide a new update. This feature (the ability to receive text/call notifications) is very important to your customers.
I have been without this function on my Fitbit Charge 2 since October 5th. I have contacted your customer service area and was provide the information to hang tight and that the engineers were working on it. Can I get an update though?

Best AnswerEnabling the notifications feature can only done in the IPhone under settings. If this feature is Not activated (enabled) your Fitbit device won’t be giving you any notifications. I’m not familiar with Androids, however, it’s my understanding they have something similar to what the IPhone has in terms of notifications.
Best AnswerI installed the new iOS update for my iPhone 8 on Friday Oct. 18, 2019 and after reading the suggested troubleshooting options, all I did was restart my iPhone and I started receiving notifications again with no more issues. 😀
Restart your phone and reconnect your Bluetooth for your Fitbit. That’s all I did and it worked for me.
