New charge 3 worked fine for one week. Then then notifications stopped coming thru. I did everything, including resetting fitbit to factory settings and starting from scratch. Still nothing. I’m very upset. My husband was going to get one for christmas but I don’t think so now, until this is fixed. Spent hours yesterday, it wouldn’t sync, couldn’t connect to Bluetooth, all kinds of problems. It only connected after I wiped the fitbit clean and started again. But, as I said, notifications are not working.

Tried everything listed here to no avail. It simply looks as if Bluetooth doesn't want to work between my new iPhone 11, and my Charge 3. Although it does update to the app once or twice a day. Still syncs to my old iPhone 6, and to the dashboard on my laptop with no issues.

What I don’t understand is that it worked perfectly for a week after I got it. Then stopped. Deciding whether to return it or not

Where is this “preview” setting? I don’t even see it in my notification settings on my ionic.

The preview setting you have to change is under messages, not Fitbit. I can’t have text previews on the lock screen of my phone due to my employment, so I selected to not have the notifications show up there. I do have my settings set to vibrate when I get a text though.
This seems to work for me, for now. Although I wish it would go back to working with the previews “never” being selected. My children play games on my phone and I don’t really like that they can read my texts while they’re playing on my phone, especially since it’s coming up on Christmas and my husband and I frequently text one another ideas for the kids.

After more than 30 days of no notifications I am finally able to receive them.
I installed update from Apple that came out Friday, iOS 13.2.2 then I deleted the Fitbit app from my phone, then reinstalled Fitbit app, reset Charge 2 just because and now the text and phone notifications are working again!!! Thank God! Wanted to share with you this great news!!!

I have tried everything multiple
times including factory resetting my Versa and reinstalling the Fitbit app. All allow notifications are checked, all the correct settings are set. So frustrating as I rely on being able to see notifications for work. Really don’t need all the additional functions of an Apple Watch but will have to switch if this is not resolved within another week. I prefer the Fitbit.
