Couldn’t agree more. Even though I’ve only been with my Fitbit for a couple months I’m regretting not having gone with an Apple Watch right off the bat. Researching and comparing models of those this morning.
Lesson learned and a couple hundred down the tubes.

Yes, I'd like to know if my FitBit Charger 3 is now obsolete? Can't even
use it as a watch! Very disappointing.

Maybe it's time for us to take to social media to put pressure on FitBit.
Twitter, Facebook, etc. Thoughts?

Really? Not sure I want Google knowing my whereabouts. Any more than they
already do!

Best AnswerI have finally gotten the text/call notifications to show on my FitBit Charge 2!!! After almost 2 months and doing all of the other "fixies/troubleshooting" I was ready to give up and get an Apple Watch come Christmas, however I really do like my FitBit. I have an iPhone XS and I finally just bit the bullet and reset my phone settings back to factory. It is a bit annoying to have to go back in and set everything back up as it us, but that takes less than 5 mins to do and I can FINALLY get my notifications on the Charge 2. Works flawlessly once again and I'm happy. Hopefully this is of some help to someone else.
