Still not working here. Fitbit will not vibrate for notifications other than phone calls. It does receive them and I can see them if I swipe down on the device but they do not automatically pop up and I am not notified.
Very disappointing as notifications was one of the main reasons I bought this Fitbit.

Thank you so much for this post! Removing the Versa and Fitbit app, then reinstalling and adding the Versa back was successful. I can’t thank you enough! I have been struggling for two months going through Fitbit’s troubleshooting with no success.
I highly recommend any other Versa user not receiving text notifications to try this method.

Frustrating! I've done this 5 or 6 times and it isn't working - I am on meds and I really need the clock to work. My issue occured not since the last iPhone update but the last Ionic update. Device is not detected on iphone nor does the set up via the app locate a wifi or blue tooth. This is not good as my doctor and I use this to track my medical needs!

I have tried to sync using an android as well as an iPhone and it still doesn't work. In addition to my versa not syncing it does not keep the correct time. When will this get resolved?

Followed all of these steps and my software is up to date. I am very frustrated that I have been unable to use a major feature of my Versa for a month.

no success after 3 careful attempts. i get the notifications for phone calls and calendar events, but not text messages even though i have confirmed they all have the same settings to allow notifications in apple and fitbit systems

I have tried these steps and still not working. I hardly wear my Fitbit anymore as it only tells time. Not why I purchased this. It still does does not give me text notifications or pick up my exercise time (yes I am doing cardio and my heart is up for more than 15 minutes).

I have tried everything posted on this site however I still cannot get my Flex 2 to vibrate when I receive text messages. It does still vibrate when I receive phone calls, just not text.
Thanks,
Christy

@MommaHelton This has worked for me..
On iPhone go to settings - notifications - messages - show previews - when unlocked. You will start getting alerts after that on Fitbit but only see the message on your phone when you unlock it. I have iPhone 11 Pro Max on newest update and Fitbit newest update with an Alta and it’s working fine this way until they fix it.

Hey everyone. I updated my iPhone 8 Plus to iOS 13.2.3 last night and began having the same issues all of you are describing. I followed all of the the recommendations I saw on this post to no avail. In a last ditch effort before a factory reset, I went into my FitBit app on my phone, selected my Versa and clicked "Remove This Versa". I then had to go through and reconnect the two, but now my notifications seem to be working! (Hopefully I'm not speaking too soon.) Good luck to you all!

I think that I went into the app, clicked on my pic, clicked on my devise, clicked on notifications, then turned them all off, shut down my phone, turned the phone back on and then it worked. Mind you have done everything else that is listed in all of the threads about 10,000 before that.

Followed the steps exactly. It took multiple tries, multiple restarts of both iPhone and fitbit, and many hours of frustration, but I finally got it to work. I share the frustration voiced by so many others. Apple and Fitbit customers deserve better.

Thanks for those who got back to me. The more details I have the better. For those reporting this issue, when posting in the thread can you verify the following:
@Lsullivan11, @LaineyNC sorry to hear it's still not working. Thanks for getting back to me. I'm reporting your case to the engineering team.
@Tricia_C can you verify step #3 is complete
@sunkist12788 this poster reported the same issue with her versa and found success deleting and adding it back, have you tried that?
Please try the following to get all day synced set up.
