Oh my gosh thank you!! That totally worked! After I allowed “preview texts” to come through my iphone went back and turned off the “preview text” option and im still receiving the notifications on my fitbit and my phone while keeping the privacy. Thank you so much!!!
Feel the same way!!!
Im so mad. I bought the charge 3 for these features...if I could only get my money back!!!
Best AnswerYou're right! If it doesn't do what it's supposed to do, why buy another Fitbit? I guess they want to go out of business. So sad that the ma kg era of Fitbit don't care!
Try going into settings on your iPhone and scroll down to the Fitbit app, open it and see if Bluetooth is selected. Mine had been turned off by the iOS update, turn it on and the world is full of goodness and light 😀😀😀
Best AnswerI have a Versa, and no problem getting the notifications in pop up. But they don’t subsequently appear in the app under notifications. That of course, is a different problem.😳.

Best AnswerNot just for IOS users. I am an android user (Huawei P20 Pro) and since the latest Fitbit update (this week) I have lost the ability to receive notifications on my Versa.
It is exceptionally inconvenient, not to mention frustrating that the expensive piece of tech on my wrist has just become an overpriced step tracker.
Why are you so concerned with the IOS system for IPhone and not working on the compatibility with the new Android system???? IOS has their own watch!!! Seriously want to use my watch again. I feel I am being punished for purchasing a new Samsung Galaxy S10+. My watch worked just fine with this new phone for 5 months! Now I am lucky if it might sync once a day. Watch wont hold time. Pretty sad you pay $300 for a watch and you can't trust it to give you the correct time of day! UGH!
I am having the complete opposite problem. My Versa keeps sending me the same notifications over and over and over again. I've had the same calendar notification come through about 200 times in the last two days. It came through back to back 10 times this morning alone. I've restarted my versa, restarted my phone. Uninstalled and reinstalled the app but as soon as I connect back the same calendar notification comes through repeatedly.
Best AnswerIs your "Team" anywhere close to fixing this problem? My wife and I I upgraded our last Fitbit for the specific features of notifications and being able to read texts. My Fitbit is only a few months old and since you won't send a replacement, can we get a refund and return it? It's too late for the store but your company should back your warranty since the features have not worked for well over a month?
2443 replies and it is still not fixed.
Notifications work one day but then not the next, when I make or receive a call my Fitbit blaze vibrates constantly like an over used vibrator and as such I am no longer wearing it.
i am unsubscribing from updates to this email trail as the number of complaints each day is driving me and my phone potty, clearly not the Fitbit this as none of those notifications seemed to come through!!
god knows if I will ever find out if you fix it, I am hoping both mine and the wife’s Fitbits may have antique value some day but they are certainly not valued by us anymore which seems to be a reflection of Fitbits customer care methodology.
FYI in a last ditch I took to Twitter to try and get a response but that was a waste of time, even when I jumped on your tweet bragging about your CEO @parkjames and @time 100 health summit today. Still no response.
i am done, gonna go to the Apple store on Saturday and see if they offer a part ex on the imitation smart watch I currently have sat redundant next to the bed.

I encourage you to call Fitbit for troubleshooting the Alta after the iOS 13.1.3 update. They talked me through resetting my Alta that was not resetting after I reset the Alta and removed the device from the app. Would not pair and received only a low battery message on the Alta. Please call them and have them walk you through the steps for your device!
