I have followed all the steps & my alta hr is still not showing notifications!! Very frustrating & ridiculous that this issue is still not resolved. I have purchased something that does not do what it was advertised to do.

I updated my phone to iOS 13 and like everyone else I no longer received notifications on my fitbit charger. I’ve tried all you recommendations and nothing works.

It's not a Fitbit problem. It happened after Apple updated their operating system. I think they did it on purpose so you wold buy an Apple Watch

It’s crazy that Fitbit has had a known issue for months yet can’t fix it and still continues to happily sell new devices to unsuspecting customers. It’s dishonest and I’m going to change devices to a non-Fitbit product.

Try all the steps they suggest first, then...
Try turning your text notifications to preview, then turn the Bluetooth under fitbit off and back on. It sucks because you’ll have your text messages exposed on your phone but this worked.

I have tried all the instructions to a tee many times and still no notifications or sleep tracking. I did at one time. This missing part has been going on for months now. I have been very patient but bogus instructions to fix something on my charge 3 that will not work gets me very frustrated.
