Might be worth updating these instructions a bit.
Obviously, this issue relates to the increased Bluetooth security measures in iOS13. Slightly disappointing that y'all haven't been able to resolve yet considering this was flagged in June during the beta period and it's now late September and iOS13 has gone to GA.
Frustrations aside. One important step that isn't highlighted well in the instructions to fix:
You'll need to go into the iOS notifications settings for each app (Gmail, FB Messenger, etc.) and set the Show Previews option to 'Always' or 'When Unlocked'.

Once you do that, you'll need to wait for a notification to come through for a particular app, then go to the Fitbit app > Notifications > App Notifications -- then you'll be able to flip on the individual apps.

Im experiencing the same issue 😕
Best AnswerNot only was I not seeing notifications, but I am also now not able to sync with my iPhone 7+. I tried the trouble shooting tips for the notifications, but i am still unable to sync with my phone. Is there a fix or that?

Best AnswerDoes anyone feel like there’s a chance in order for notifications to work we’ll need to keep the preview set to “Always”? If that’s the case I may have to seriously consider switching to Apple Watch...
