Hello and welcome to the Fitbit Community @Yorkygirl  (thank you for merging the post to one area @Odyssey13 )

Thank you for coming to the community with your question @Yorkygirl. It appears that you have several different questions. Let’s see if I can’t help with some of them.

Let’s first address the sync location in the Fitbit App. Here is how you can manually sync the Fitbit App:

open the Fitbit App

Tap the word “today” at bottom center of your screen to ensure your on the main page

look to the top of your screen and find the word TODAY in dark bold font in just below the word Fitbit

place your finger on  TODAY, apply pressure and drag your finger downward then release

you have now manually synced

Now about your weather issue: Your weather may currently wrong because you need to sync your Fitbit Tracker with your iOS Device.

Now on too where you can set your notifications. Here’s how:

open your Fitbit app

tap your profile picture

scroll down and tap Charge 3 (located just under “My Family”)

scroll down to and tap notifications

tap which notifications you want enabled

tap the word “today” at the bottom of your screen to return to the main page

**Please understand that currently notifications are a known issue and the Fitbit Team is working hard to resolve this issue. For any and all notifications issues you may experience please refer to this thread here: https://community.fitbit.com/t5/iOS-App/Stopped-seeing-notifications-after-updating-to-iOS-13/td-p/3...

Now to address more notifications settings. (Friends request, cheers, etc) can be found here:

open your Fitbit App

tap your profile picture on the upper left of your screen

scroll down and tap notifications

enable notifications you want

tap the word “Today” at the bottom of your screen to return to the main page

Lastly you wanted your steps to be in the large circle on the main page of the Fitbit App instead of calories. Here is how you change this:

open your Fitbit App to the main today page

look to the upper right just under the notifications envelope and you will see the word “edit”

tap on “edit

now look to the top of your screen and make sure that steps are checked

now look to the right of steps and you will see three horizontal lines

place your finger on those horizontal lines and drag them up to the top so it’s first

now tap “save” in the upper right

sync your Fitbit and your all set!

Thanks, the device had somehow become unpaired, goodness knows how because I’ve been receiving all notifications !

everything except the weather temperature is still incorrect it’s still showing Fahrenheit rather than Celsius.

Hello again @Yorkygirl

Your question about the weather app should be posted here in the Fitbit App Gallery: https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Fitbit-App-Gallery/bd-p/appgallery

Because it’s an app added to the Charge 3 you would get better exposure and relevant answers to that question.
