Hello everyone!

I would like to announce that the redesigned Fitbit app starts rolling out today! This new app will help you reach your goals, and bring the health and wellness information right on hand.

Check out our latest blog for how to get the most out of the new app.

Note: Please be patient if you don't see the update right away, as it will take some time to roll out completely.

Happy stepping!

Dang.  I was at 351.

Yes!  I open the app on my phone and all I see is how I slept last night.  I want to see steps, not zzzz's

How do I go back to the old dashboard. I really hate this downgrade.

I hate the new App interface - and agree it was “forced” on us without warning.

I'd like to know what they were thinking when they took something that worked great and turned it into this garbage. If this is what I can expect from Fitbit, I'll have to keep it in mind when I replace this unit.

The app was upgraded without the customers being informed.

The new update is very hard to read. Everything is so big and takes away the ease of looking at things “at a glance” which is why I loved Fitbit. The calories left feature has been taken away from the Home Screen, which was an important part of my day and tracking. This feature being gone makes me want to get rid of my Fitbit. I’m so disappointed. This has been the easiest way I’ve ever found to keep track of my calories remaining, and now it’s gone.

Totally agree. I've used, and relied on, the information in the old app for years. Now, unless I'm missing something, I can't see my past weekly totals (daily averages yes, but not totals). Similarly, when I look at the current week, I don't have a running total - just the total from the previous days in the week and the steps from today. In this case, a trivial calculation to get the info I want, but why? The look and ease of usage in the new app are not welcome. Give me the option of the old format.

Where did my estimated calories remaining for the day go? I can see how many calories I’ve burned up to the current time, but there used to be an estimated calories remaining based on my current rate of calorie burn?? If that doesn’t come back…I will be seriously looking at other fitness watches. Been with FitBit since 2018.

I agree 100%.

This was my question too. That’s a pretty important metric, and for it to just be gone is very frustrating.

Takes forever to synch now and no longer shows % for battery remaining... it says 'moderate' which is subjective. Please bring it back!

It seems it no longer tracks how many days in row I’ve met my goal too.   That is what I used Fitbit 😥

Please read all of our concerns.  This app update is horrific.  My friends and family are looking at other trackers and we’ve used Fitbit for years. ALL of our goal streaks are gone.  No battery icon.  The look of the app is not at all appealing or user friendly.     This is a horrible change. Please note that pretty much all of us want the old app back.

This new OS is terrible 0/10. Is it possible to go back to the old one?

The old app was the only value of Fitbit indeed. I have never moved to other trackers as the app was outstabding. The trackers itself are trash, I have already ownwd 8 and the do not last even 24 months without using them on the shower. clearly a piece of crap that survived due to the app and now these idiots launch a trash app without even testing it and getting feedback? Great recipe for bankruptsy.

Completely agree. I’m so disappointed. I absolutely hate the changes and the app design has been a reason I’ve loved Fitbit since 2015.

Absolute incompetence at one's job is not criminal.  The alleged desire of the company not to listen to its customers is insane and immoral, but again, not criminal.  Is it true that Fitbit powers that be will not listen to their customers?

New format totally sucks. You now have to click on multiple pages to get the same info you had from the main page.  Can’t seem to compare data from week to week without a nightmare finding the information. Someone should be fired over this. When this watch dies I Am Done with FITBIT.

Have to agree with you on that. Tech support were the ones who told me to write. Guess they aren't happy about it either
