Hello everyone!
I would like to announce that the redesigned Fitbit app starts rolling out today! This new app will help you reach your goals, and bring the health and wellness information right on hand.
Check out our latest blog for how to get the most out of the new app.
Note: Please be patient if you don't see the update right away, as it will take some time to roll out completely.
Happy stepping!
Just adding to the chorus of disappointed feedback here. The color scheme, size of text and objects, and less intuitive customization options in this redesign make the app harder and less enjoyable to use. I liked the old interface a lot and am frustrated by this unexpected and unwanted change!
Take 5 minutes to set it up the way that you want, it's not that hard.
@cafbfan @If you press the pencil edit icon on the top right, just beneath the settings cog wheel icon, you open the "Customize" mode. Then you can press the up and down arrows on the top right of each section to change their position on the screen. Press "Save" at the top right when your done
Yes! I had also hit a few days over 400. It’s a real motivator for me. So frustrating.
This new setup is terrible. Please go back to the other one
That is a definite shame. I hate the new interface. For me it’s not ‘clean’ it’s boring, the content looks so identical and bland it no longer holds any meaning, nor provides any motivation or reward to engage with. It’s truly awful.
The new Fitbit App Design is horrible. Poor Display, design is terrible, no choice for use was given. New design was imposed on users with no option to retain previous design which is 100% better. Company must provide customers option to retain previous design. Unfortunately, I will change to different product, if option isn’t provided soon.🤬🤬🤬
Can it be fixed to show back up on app? I hate not seeing it.
I agree. Will also be leaving.
It's possible, just much harder for no reason. It was simple to customize before, now I have to create a custom template. We have to order by heading now, such as Health, Sleep, etc., instead of being able to order each widget however we please.
My wife's app updated first on iOS and I thought it was a version difference and that Android just had more/better functionality. To my dismay my own app updated overnight and has had many UX benefits removed. Who asked for this, and why is there still no dark mode after 10 years of asking?
The home screen on my Fitbit App has changed on my iPhone and I CAN'T STAND it! Everything is the same color and it' frustrating to tell the tiles apart from each other. Below is a screen shot from my phone. How do I change it back to the way it was?
