Unable to update the email on my Fitbit account.

Hello there.

I would like to report that the fitbit is not allowing to change email.When you insert new email address and password,the blue line pops out that the email is changed and stuff,but after that when you refresh the site old email address shows instead of the new one.

I'am positive it should be fixed soon,as fitibt takes this stuff seriously,don't worry guys.

Thanks for bringing this situation to my attention. If you have changed the email on your account recently, please follow these instructions for the changes to be reflected on your account:

 

  1. Go to your new email's inbox and check for a mail from Fitbit with the subject: Finish setting up your Fitbit account!
  2. Verify your new email with the link provided in the email.
  3. Go back to your online Dashboard and you will see the new email linked to your account.

I appreciate your participation in the Forums and for sharing your experience with us. If you haven't done it yet, please check your junk or spam folder as some email providers might mark Fitbit emails as spam.

This is ridiculous! I made a typo on my email and there is no information as to how to correct this, so I cannot get a verification email. I assume it's being sent somewhere else with my personal info.  Please HELP!!!!

why can't I update my email? There is a typo in it and needs to be fixed.
