Versa 2 text notifications not coming through

Hello, 

 

I previously had a charge 2 and when I did the IOS update I stopped receiving text notifications. I understand this was an issue for many people. I tried all the trouble shooting resolutions and made sure my phone and app was up to date with the latest software but still no notifications came through. Call notifications came through but never text. Recently I have bought a versa 2 and after setting it up I realised that text notifications were still not coming through the watch, all other apps and calls were coming through again just not texts. Can anyone tell me what's going on and how to fix this issue?

I understand your frustration on not receiving your text notifications. (I’m super happy to see your other notifications are currently working. That’s outstanding!) As you mentioned you are aware that notifications are a known issue. I do know that for text notifications your iOS settings should reflect this:

  • Allow Notifications—On
  • Alerts > Notification Center—On
  • Show Previews—Always or When Unlocked

I would suggest keeping an eye on this thread, particularly page 1, for any updates on the notifications issues. If any new information is announced it would do so here: https://community.fitbit.com/t5/iOS-App/Stopped-seeing-notifications-after-updating-to-iOS-13/td-p/3...
