Walks not showing up in the exercise tile.

Help! At first my Fitbit Charge 2 was tracking all my exercise including walks ( over 15 mins/ uphill etc), but now my walking isn't being tracked. My steps are being counted and the 'active minutes' are being tracked, just not the actual walk and calories burned etc. Is anybody else experiencing this? My app is up to date and everything else seems to be fine, it's frustrating as it was tracking everything correctly!

Hello @Roseannie29, I hope you're doing well, thanks for taking the time to reply. 

I appreciate you've shared your findings with me; please note that if you're doing some activities like pushing a stroller or shopping cart, your wrist-based tracker might not count your step, as Fitbit trackers use the natural movement of the arms when walking to count steps and when you're pushing a stroller the tracker might be completely static during the activity. Some members of the Community have recommended using their trackers on their pockets while pushing a stroller or setting up MobileTrack in their phones. MobileTrack uses the sensors on your compatible device to count your steps. 

To set up MobileTrack:

1. Open the Fitbit app and tap on Account.
2. Search for MobileTrack and tap on it.
3. Follow the onscreen instructions.

I'd also like to mention that there's currently a suggested idea by @fudge22 to implement a stroller mode in a future update. Feel free to vote for it or add your comment to show your support, this is the best place to make your voice heard.

The funny thing is that although it doesn’t count my walks/steps when pushing the stroller as excerise but for walking back and forth to school  pushing a stroller it will count my steps. But last couple days it will at 8&9am on the 250+ steps but not at the 2&3pm school walk time

My wife has a ONE and recently noticed her exercise icon no longer auto-recognize no longer works (since Nov 2018). one her phone, tapping the gear after tapping the exercise tile does not show the auto-recognize section - just the number of days.  Is there a setting for auto-recognize?

I have the same issue but with Versa 2. The setting are on auto recognize after 10 mins. I make sure I don’t hold anything while walking and I have reset my fitbit. Still nothing works

Mine isn’t working either. I’ve got mine set at 15 minutes/4 times a week of exercise  and I get that but it doesn’t show up. It shows the star when you click on exercise but not on the little guy where you get the four lines to make a circle when one gets 4 days of exercise that they have set as their goal. The main part up top flashes everyday saying I met all my goals. Very frustrating. Just happened with the last update.

My Fitbit app is refusing to connect with the internet. I have tried deleting and re downloading it and that is after I restarted my phone. I am really getting tired off all these problems with it. Don’t think I will be replacing it with another.

Mine aren’t showing in the activities page, but I’ve done 3 x 11/12 minutes today but they haven’t showed

Thank you. Your solution worked. My walks were displaying in my Activities on my laptop but not my phone so I Forced Stopped the app and restarted my phone, then launched the app and the walks were there.

Hi, I’m having the same issue. I’ve read through all your articles & done all the troubleshooting but nothing helps. I manually entered a spin session which logged fine & has tracked towards my 5 a day however, my weights workout & 4K walk logged but didn’t track towards by 5 a day. I have the Inspire HR. Any help would be really appreciated, thanks in advance!!
