Fitbit Update 4/29

Fitbit Update 3/24
It was brought to our attention that some users' workouts aren't showing up on their iOS activity log, but are showing up on their Fitbit.com activity log.

This is a known issue that our team is currently investigating. Thanks in advance for everybody's patience.

Mine aren't showing correctly in either place.
Getting the red (not synced) message on the app and online I might have an entry for some day but they are blank.

My manually entered fitness activity shows up in my daily step total, but not in my challenges or friends leaderboards. Is this the same issue?

I think I have figured out my problem. I am guessing that in the last app update Fitbit "updated" the list of exercise choices. I have been using the items from my recent list (not searching for the exercise each time). I decided to try finding a different exercise and noticed that INTERVALS is no longer on the list at all - but still shows in my recent list. As soon as I used a different exercise it is working fine again.

Is there any update on this? My exercise is tracked on fitbit.com but will not sync to the ios app, very annoying.

@DerrickS Trying your suggestions: the non-synced activities do not show up online. Also, yoga and calisthenics don't sync either, but rollerblading and kickboxing do. I have force quit the app and restarted to no avail. Took a screenshot but don't know how to post it here.

Still having a problem on the mobile app not showing activity but not syncing displayed in red.  It seems to work correctly when I log it from my laptop - just the mobile app.

My FitBit has not synced since March 25, shortly after I did my iOS upgrade. No steps are showing up, nothing. It constantly says "Looking.." And can seem to find my FitBit. Is this the same issue? Please help!

Hi,

It is not a matter of where the activities show up. It is that if you enter an activity on the IOS app it will not sync to FItbit.com. If you enter the activity on FItbit.com, it will sync to the app. There is a problem in the syncing process between the app and FItbit.com that has been happening now for 2 weeks. It's inconvenient not to be able to use the app to enter activities.

I've tried everything recommended and my manual entries of exercise are still not syncing via my iPhone app. The only way that I've been able to enter exercise that will sync with my app is via the online log which is very inconvenient.

Is there a timeline as to when this will be resolved? Is there anything else recommended besides deleting the app, reloading it, and losing all the progress I've made over the last 11 months?

Fitbit iOS app not showing correct workout information. The website is correct!

Yes, I just entered all my "music singing" exercises (that didn't sync on my app) on Fitbit.com and now it shows up in both logs - Fitbit.com and my app.

The problem is the app.

I have exactly the same problem. I log exercise - in my case body pump class - on the app. I can see it but it says 'not synced' and doesn't show on my dashboard. Started shortly after March 14 2016.

@DerrickS  I just want to include myself in the list of users having this problem.  I can trace it to the same time frame as everyone who has commented.

The only exercise that will not sync is a custom exercise I created some time ago.  I hope this helps the software engineers find the bug.

I can log the exercise from my computer dashboard, but that is very annoying when I prefer to use the app.

I've been manually entering Drumming sessions as an exercise in Fitbit iOS app for months, now when I enter one, it fails to sync to my activities it asks me to try again. It worked fine until the update before last, then quit functioning. I can recategorize an activity that Fitbit auto recognizes as something else to drumming with success, but not manually log one.
