Update 9/17/2019: We have released iOS app version 3.6.1 to all users. Please update your app to this version. It is recommended to all experiencing continuous crashes and should resolve this issue.
Hi Everyone - I've merged several posts together.
We're aware of an issue that may cause some iOS users to experience a continuous crash when trying to open the app after updating to version 3.6.
To resolve this, please try to uninstall and reinstall the app from the app store. Even if you have tried this previously, please try again.
If this does not work, our team is working to resolve it and hope to have a fix soon. Be sure to keep your Fitbit device and app up-to-date to ensure you receive the quickest resolution.
We're sorry for any trouble. We appreciate your patience and look forward to getting you back on track.

Uninstalling and reinstalling from the App store worked for me. The app opened right up and I was able to sync. Thanks.

Is this resolved yet? I'm not even trying to delete and reinstall the app after seeing how many of you have already done that and still it doesn't work. I never logged out of my app. It just suddenly stopped working. I keep seeing all the notifications but cannot open the app. Very frustrating. So much for those Weekend Warrior and Workweek Hustle challenges then. ALSO: Doesn't deleting the app also delete all data? I don't want to lose all that progress!!!!

I had the same issue after updating my iPhone 7 to the latest version. I read this and solved the crash problem but going in to the App store and downloading the newest Fitbit version. It works. Thx.

Hello @LJC1962
You will NOT lose any data if you uninstall then reinstall the Fitbit app. Just log in as normal when it installs. 😃

You won’t lose data. I uninstalled and lost nothing but unfortunately still not working properly.
