Update 9/17/2019: We have released iOS app version 3.6.1 to all users. Please update your app to this version. It is recommended to all experiencing continuous crashes and should resolve this issue.

Hi Everyone - I've merged several posts together.

We're aware of an issue that may cause some iOS users to experience a continuous crash when trying to open the app after updating to version 3.6.

To resolve this, please try to uninstall and reinstall the app from the app store. Even if you have tried this previously, please try again.

If this does not work, our team is working to resolve it and hope to have a fix soon. Be sure to keep your Fitbit device and app up-to-date to ensure you receive the quickest resolution.

We're sorry for any trouble. We appreciate your patience and look forward to getting you back on track.

I downloaded 3.6.1 update yesterday morning & it worked. I didn’t lose my data either. Good luck!

I was able to un-install the app and re-install it with the new update.
This seemed to fix the problem. Give that a try.

I finally installed an app that doesn't crash and now it won't sync with my FitBit One.

About to give up on this, so much hassle and wasted time.

I agree although mine was a brand new one for my birthday so annoyed as I was going to go for an Apple Watch this time and everyone said how good the Versa was

Not to the best of my knowledge. I deleted app and reinstalled made no difference on my Android.

Hi At last after very angry phone call android is up and running, probably a coincidence.

Did have to change password to get it to work. Just input the old one as new.

Phew.

Thanks all for your sympathy and understandsing.

Deleting the app will delete my data, no? At least this is what my iPhone tells me. Any way around that? I just updated to the version above and it went from working fine to crashing within a second every time.

It did not delete my data to un-install then re-install again. It works
fine now after doing that.
