New ionic won't show the activity numbers on the face  (steps, etc.)

@spinningsue Welcome to the Fitbit Community! It's great to have you here! I will gladly assist you with this inquiry. The stats shown on the clock face will depend on its design. You can choose between different clock faces that show different stats but you can always check your day's data by swiping up on the clock face screen.
