I just get ‘unknown error’ repeatedly when I press ‘Create Family Account’ Have uninstalled and reinstalled the app, switched off my phone and switched it in again, but problem persists.

same problem with the kids fitbit, 7.30 kid crying, unknown error repeatedly.. mines going back unless solved soon!

I had the same issue and was able to resolve the ‘unknown error’ by adding my date of birth to my adult profile. Once I did that I was able to create the family account and add my child’s Fitbit.
