I notice that there are lots of people experiencing the same issues but these are all dated 2018. I was in Chat with an operative yesterday for about half an hour but the problem still persists. After recording the full sleep pattern , the last three nights have all been basic. How can I resolve the problem and get back to showing the full sleep pattern? And do I have to wait until tomorrow morning to see if the issue has been resolved,
many thanks, Leslie

@pennyvk Thanks for the update.
I would like to mention that currently, the Fitbit app has in-app error notifications that provide an explanation why you aren't receiving Sleep Stages. This is meant to provide information about what might be occurring to cause this. The error messages are the following:
When you tap on Learn more, you will be able to get more information about why your Fitbit Alta HR didn't record your sleep stages. In addition, I'd like to suggest the following:
Hope this helps. Let me know how it goes.

My Fitbit has only ever shown simplified sleep. Slept more that 3 hours, bpm working properly, reset makes no difference.

I can't figure out how to create a new comment, so I'm replying here, I'm sorry. I noticed that my last app update coincided with when I started getting basic sleep info. Battery level is fine, tried the reset, sleeping more than 3 hours, HR is synced. I just manually updated the app again, hoping that will solve the issue.
