I've had an issue for a few months now where my logged food doesnt accurately show up on the main screen icon, and instead have to open the full food log to view my calories.
Starting yesterday, the food log is not displaying my calories at all after adding them. Hours later, they might show up, along with all my other attempts to log my food. It's been a mess, and I've had to resort to just writing it all down.
Customer Support told me to log out, restart my phone, log back in, and try logging. That didn't work. Then they said to uninstall the app and reinstall the app. That didn't work either. I'm still having this issue today, and it's quite frustrating because it's like the main thing I use this app for.
Is this some bug that just needs addressed in an update? My app is up to date, having an update done two days ago. Anyone else having this issue?
Edit: I would like to add that this only seems to affect the quick calories input. Any specific measured food I add seems to show right up, but since I use quick calories throughout most of the day, I cant accurately track my food anymore.

Same. Sleep was fine until today, though sometimes there was a delay of a few hours before it would update. Now there are no details and no sleep score.
This is exactly what's happening to me.

For the past few weeks the food grams have been logging in over 800 for fats, over 200 for protein and fiber. I have no other apps connected to the Firbit app. Restarting phone, uninstalling and reinstalling app, and logging out isn't fixing the issue. Could someone help me with this?
Thanks

My fitbit app is not tracking my food calories properly. I will put in the food/quick calories/whatever and it may show up fine on the graph compared to my burned calories for z time. Few hours, couple days, but then it goes away despite the fact that it clearly still remembers the foods I put in. Really hard to track my calorie budget when I have to stop and pull out a calculator for what the app should be disn't. I fist noticed in the past week, but also just started tracking food again so this could have been a running issue. Using an Inspire 2 and have premium if that makes a difference.
I have look at some really old posts and tried all the troubleshooting I saw.
Rebooted the app, reinstalled the app, restarted my phone, restarted the Bluetooth feature, re-added the food, tracked back months past and gone back. Nothing seems to fix it.
Some advice would really help here because I got fitbit to keep tracking this stuff easy and it really isnt.

Still no update in the play store for me. I know it doesn't have the fix but that's just crazy. If anything positive has come from this its forced me to learn how to use myfitnesspal and im definitely preferring its calorie system and logging.

Food and calorie log are not working properly - on the dashboard widget it appears that I haven't logged any food for the day, or sometimes shows a random number of calories as if it has picked up some of what I've eaten.
If I go into the food log, sometimes everything is there but the total is wrong and sometimes some of the food has disappeared completely - even if I have logged it alongside other food.
I have tried logging out/in, uninstalling the app and clearing the data and caché. Has anyone else had similar issues and does anyone know of a fix?

So I have downloaded MyFitnessPal and linked it to my Fitbit but when I log food on MyFitnessPal it doesn’t show up on my Fitbit app when I sync it. Is there something I am supposed to do to get it to share to Fitbit from MyFitnessPal or is it supposed to be automatic?

I was checking back to see if there was a fix yet, but it doesn't look like it. Yes, I can sync with another food app, but I really want to track everything together and have the info in my reports. I also don't want to take the time to input my recipes & common foods in one app and then do it again in Fitbit later. I'm hoping that the other Fitbit health measures aren't incorrect as well. My HRV looks extremely low in the app, but now I'm thinking it's also incorrect/ not working? It's easy to see the zero calorie error, but some of the others would be impossible for a user to see or pick up on. Hopefully this is resolved soon. Thank you for the update.

So many users are having many different issues. Can't understand why they can't fix this. 😕

What a mess. Just starting having these issues with the food tracking about 48 hours ago and came here to see it's been happening for a lot longer to many others.
Shows the issue has been "fixed" but until that really happens I have had to resort to Fatsecret. Old but effective app.

This is not working for me. Tried the quit/ delete app uninstall reinstall methods which worked once and briefly. I'm not going to do this everyday. No updates detected.

Yeah this has gone on too long and too many more new people are having the same issues arise. Im not purchasing anymore from Fitbit. 530 replies and mods pop in every so often for a generic reply and support is no help. Apparently they're just now really looking into it but its been two days since. Still not seeing the last update that happened last week (?). Still no public announcement of this being an issue for newer people. Moved on to MFP and will use my watch for tracking exercise.

Mine is tracking intermittently and it's really frustrating for me because I have a coach who give me my target macros and I am trying really hard to meet them. A couple of nights ago I logged my dinner and it showed up as though it logged it, however it only added calories from some of the foods and not others. I didn't realize it did this and so when I went for my evening snack I ate more than what I had remaining for the day. Later that evening the calories finally popped up and I was over on my macros. I was so aggravated. I have tried so hard so meet my macros without going over and then I go over because fitbit can't get their crap together.
Just now when logging my lunch it showed my food but didn't add the calories.
I don't want to but I guess I need to learn how to use my fitness pal. I have a lot of custom foods and frequently eaten foods in my FB so it will be a pain to start all over. It's been weeks now. What's the deal??

This is also affecting me but it isn't just quick calories - it is almost all food I log. The whole food log section is super glitchy. It shows that I am missing almost two weeks of food data in the overview even though food has been logged for those days. It also isn't correctly showing my activity for the day so the budget is also messed up consistently. It never updates my food logs on the main page.
And several times when I have logged out and logged back in to try and get it to work it DELETES several days of food logs. I thought that surely this would be fixed quickly but like I said this has been going on for OVER A MONTH. It is very demotivating and makes me not want to interact with the app because I know it isn't going to work. Please fix this.
I am using a Pixel 6 Pro and my app has been updated to what is available in the Google Play Store - Version 3.59.1

I have the most recent update as well. You put it well... this is demotivating to input data that is important to you and have it deleted or incorrect. Nothing shows in Recent or Frequent foods, so I'm rescanning the same foods each day. My free LoseIt app never lost data & remembered what I had done before. I thought a paid app with a whole system would work at least as well.

I'm having buyers remorse. Purchased two Charge 5s and expected an app that worked correctly, and more inportantly, better customer support. Wishing I had gone to Apple Watch now, considering the price for the Charge 5. I really thought that Fitbit was a better quality product than what I've experienced since purchasing in April. Hopefully Costco will accept return.
