I've had an issue for a few months now where my logged food doesnt accurately show up on the main screen icon, and instead have to open the full food log to view my calories.
Starting yesterday, the food log is not displaying my calories at all after adding them. Hours later, they might show up, along with all my other attempts to log my food. It's been a mess, and I've had to resort to just writing it all down.
Customer Support told me to log out, restart my phone, log back in, and try logging. That didn't work. Then they said to uninstall the app and reinstall the app. That didn't work either. I'm still having this issue today, and it's quite frustrating because it's like the main thing I use this app for.
Is this some bug that just needs addressed in an update? My app is up to date, having an update done two days ago. Anyone else having this issue?
Edit: I would like to add that this only seems to affect the quick calories input. Any specific measured food I add seems to show right up, but since I use quick calories throughout most of the day, I cant accurately track my food anymore.

I noticed this on my cell app as well, but for some reason, the problem does not exist when I attempt to add a food and it's nutritional information on the Fitbit program on my desktop computer!

@LizzyFitbit I have version 3.62 on my Android phone. The food tile is still not working properly. Recent and frequent food lists are not populating. Total calories consumed is not appearing on Food Tile and remaining calories is still wrong. Are these issues being fixed in next version?

Whilst it is possible to restore current day2day functionality by logging out, clearing the cache, restarting the mobile in recovery formatting the cache then normal start and log back into Fitbit *all* the history is gone. It is pretty **ahem** poor.

Same issue. Calories won't add. So frustrating. Help desk told me to Uninstall and reinstall just yesterday (July 6). They should have known this is an ongoing issue that is supposedly being worked on. Everything was fine for me until July 2. Have no idea why it stopped working. And I use the calories feature all day to determine what I can and can't have by evening time. I cant fathom why they can't get this fixed with so many users having the issue.

Yeah... When they tell you to uninstall/reinstall they know it's not going to work, I think they're just trying to get you off the phone. This has been an issue for months and should know by now that doesn't fix it.

Version 3.62 and still not working for me. Doesn't add up anything, just leaves it at 0.

This app's had issues with updating the UI for as long as I've used it (about two years), but it's gotten much worse lately. Given that I've yet to see these people actually fix a single bug, it seems like it's about time to jump ship - if they're letting core functionality just rot, it's over for them as a company.

Totally agree! Looking through numerous posts that's always the answer to every issue (uninstall/reinstall). That alone should be a red flag for the Tech team. Clearly that can't be an acceptable solution (even if it worked... which it doesnt) to constantly have to do that. They need to get their you know what together. There are too many competitors out there that have good, working apps for health and fitness. I've been a fitbit user for almost a decade and I really hate to change but I'm getting to the point if I can't get an app that supports my needs and they won't fix it I may need to move on.
In addition to the calorie issue, last night my real time data stopped working so I can't even constantly monitor my heart rate while I'm on the treadmill. I tried to put a new post in today and typed tons of data as requested, and when I hit submit it said the link wasn't active and I lost everything. Sooooo frustrated.

3.62 has not solved my problem. If I enter a food through the app it still doesn't sync up and show when I go to my Dashboard, however anything I enter through the Dashboard syncs up fine and is visible in the app. I recall everything working just fine in 3.58, and then they had to do some bug fixes.... And now here we are!

hello i have a problem because i can't add new food to the app. I click the add button I complete all the data I click save. I am showing the option to add this product but without units. I cannot record it again because it is not in my product list. I think this is a problem with the current version because I didn't have this problem in the past. I am asking for help because I like this application very much and without this function it is useless for me.

I've noticed this problem over the last few days, too. I think you're right about it being about the last update. This is part of the app I rely on the most. Without it it's if no use to me.

Yep the app is currently utterly awful and the calorie and nutrients values are all over the place. How can 2 carrots provide over 25000 mg of vit A? That much vitamin A would kill you.
Fitbit make no apology for this and also no message to it's users about the issue. They clearly do not care about members, only our money.

Hi. I just tried Quick Calories Add on the app on my Samsung Note 10+. It did not show up on the dashboard. I have a Samsung S2 tablet that has a storage issue I am trying to correct. Therefore, the app has not been able to update. The Quick Add on the app on the smartphone did not show up there. I used the quick add on the tablet and it showed up on the app on the my phone. I have been experimenting with the app on my tablet and the Fitbit website. If I log on the tablet, it will show up on the app on the phone and the website. If I log food on the website it will show up on the app on both the tablet and phone. It takes a couple of minutes before it shows up on the phone. This is very time consuming and frustrating! Before I joined the community today, I was online chat with support to tell them about my experiment. Unfortunately the chat ended abruptly while they were looking up my case. I tried to restart the chat but kept getting the error page. Apparently Fitbit has more than one technical issue going on. I hope they resolve them quickly. After 2 updates i was hoping that would be the case. I am not holding my breath!

The app already had an issues with the "Nutrients" section...but the calories in and calories out was ok.....until today.
This morning my previous days of calories was deleted, and when I try to add it back in it only looks at the first entry of "140 calories". I just bought my fitbit luxe and was so excited to use it but I am completely unimpressed with the support for the Fitbit app and how bugs are handled. Will potentially switch to Garmin if support does not improve. I do not want to do this...but unfortunately I do not see any other option 😕

What version are you on? Has 3.63 rolled out yet? I'm still at 3.62 which doesn't work. I've been using My Fitness Pal until Fitbit is working again.

The version on my tablet is 3.58. The version on my smartphone is 3.62. The tablet works, but is not convenient when dining out. I have been checking the Play Store every couple of days hoping that version 3.63 has rolled out. Considering how many conversations there are here that they would be trying to resolve this quicker.
