I've had an issue for a few months now where my logged food doesnt accurately show up on the main screen icon, and instead have to open the full food log to view my calories.
Starting yesterday, the food log is not displaying my calories at all after adding them. Hours later, they might show up, along with all my other attempts to log my food. It's been a mess, and I've had to resort to just writing it all down.
Customer Support told me to log out, restart my phone, log back in, and try logging. That didn't work. Then they said to uninstall the app and reinstall the app. That didn't work either. I'm still having this issue today, and it's quite frustrating because it's like the main thing I use this app for.
Is this some bug that just needs addressed in an update? My app is up to date, having an update done two days ago. Anyone else having this issue?
Edit: I would like to add that this only seems to affect the quick calories input. Any specific measured food I add seems to show right up, but since I use quick calories throughout most of the day, I cant accurately track my food anymore.

I've got the same issue to and its been going on for a good few weeks now. Enter food and the final total just doesn't add up or appear at all.
Even clicked on past days and the entered column just dissappears!
I've uninstall the app and re installed the newest version from the playstore. Worked for a few days then back to the old same.
Come on Fitbit, I know you lads and ladettes can sort this out.
BTW everything else is working as it should.
Regards

I have been using the 3.63 for some time. It works better, but still has syncing problems sometimes, mostly temporary. adding new foods is improved

Where did you find 3.63? I'm on Google Play Store and it just shows 3.62.

I got an automatic update from play store, I think they roll it out gradually

I get automatic updates too. It is not there today. Hopefully tomorrow for me. I am getting tired of bouncing between my tablet and computer just to log my food and get my calories up to date.

Has this been fixed yet? I am having a lot of issues with logging food, with calories disappearing and then reappearing. my "custom foods" keep disappearing. I'm a home cook so my recipes I like calculating the nutrition and adding it in so this is annoying.

No, it hasn't been fixed for me. Frustrating its been so long. Know what you mean about the custom foods. Takes a long time to calculate all the nutrition by serving size and then record it. Frustrating to lose that!

Got the 3.63 update this morning.. the calories in/out tile seems to work now. The calculations of global/daily/total macros (where a food logged is of more than 1 portion/gram/ml/serving etc etc) is still not behaving as it should. The unfortunate byproduct of the update is that my food logs going back to the 21st May (when my phone updated to 3.59, which started the current issue run) have now deleted all of the local custom foods I'd added and logged since then. - so I've lost several hundred calories per day. Far from ideal. And I'd never follow the advice of 'uninstall then reinstall'

Overnight app updated to 3.63. Everything seems to be in order now but I will monitor for a while to make sure.

I have the same issue, all the food I enter shows up but the calories are not counted. It is more than a little discourging.

Grrrr...still at 3.62 over here. Hopefully soon, and hopefully in good working order at long last.

I received my update last night. I went into Google Play store and checked updates pending, it wasn't there. I clicked on the manage tab, then click Name to find the app faster. When I clicked on it, it showed an update. It is the 3.63 version. I logged my coffee this morning and checked it against the older version that is still on the tablet. I also checked the website. It seems to be working okay. The log showed up on the tablet and the website. The calories showed up on the app's dashboard on my smartphone. With regards to custom foods, I checked a few and did't see any missing. I added a new one last night after updating.

Finally updated and working for me too. It's been months and I've been using myfitnesspal while waiting. I did like having everything in one app but I might as well stick with myfitnesspal now since the food database is a lot more accurate.

Just a quick update: I have performed a retest of my analysis with the new version 3.63 and custom foods are working fine now 😊

Now that the big problem with the custom foods appears to be fixed for everyone who has the latest 3.63 update, and we can at least all track our food again, it would be nice if some of the smaller food tracking issues were fixed. I've seen quite a handful reported here. One that I started noticing is that the Recent Foods list does not seem to be updating/refreshing correctly. It keeps growing in size every time I track something, with no apparent order. I'm not even 100% sure everything is making it onto the list. It's unusable in its current state, and I can't find pretty much everything I've recently tracked. It appears the list on the website dashboard is updating correctly. So this appears to be another issue with the app specifically. Either it's not pulling the latest data down from the API, or it's not refreshing the Recent Foods tab correctly after pulling the data down.

The nutrients content continues to be way off.
This should be next to be fixed by the FitBit team now.

I guess this is not solved?. Other threads tell one to lo out of the app, force quit, then reboot phone. I tried logging out, not really easy, I had to log into the web page and chnage my PW force the app to let me logout. then I force quit the app, then rebooted the phone. The result, I lost 2 months of my data. And I still cannot create custom food calories/servings count. I really need to start looking for a new tracker.
