Char.lou
Don't worry, it is usually a very reliable app. From the few issues i have had with Fitbit, once they know of the issue, they sort it out!

For everyone still experiencing issues, have you actually tried clearing the cache and data of the app after FitBit announced the fix? If you tried this last night, or earlier this morning, it wouldn't have made any difference.

@Fitnesshopeful2 This is what I was experiencing last night and earlier this morning. Have you tried clearing the FitBit app cache and data? I did this after FitBit announced the fix and it rectified the problem. If you tried to do this either last night or earlier this morning, chances are it wouldn't have worked

04-24-2020 03:40
how can you do that on the app?

From me previous post.
You can't do this in the app, you need to go through your phones settings
Depending on your phone and Android version it may be slightly different, however you'll want to got to Settings -Apps (Apps and Notifications), then find and select Fitbit. From here select Storage and Cache. (May just be called storage) Just clear both the Cache and the Data. You will then be asked to log in when you open the app.
