It worked for my android phone with no loss of recorded info.  It doesn't work on iPhones.  If you have an iPhone try this link or contact Fitbit (Google   Contact Support - Fitbit Help) find the online form and send it to them.

This work around does not work for me. I have to change my clock face and resync for it to work. I reached out to someone in support today and because I did the work around they cannot help me. This is unfair, if the product is defective, the company knows about it they should make it right. Either do an update that fixes the issue or send me a new product. I will be shopping for a new fitness device and it wont be FitBit. So disappointed with this company.

Thanks for the reply. I ended up calling Customer Support to get the real fix. Deleted app the reinstalled followed by login was a real fix. I recommended that FitBit post this as the fix.
