I updated to Android 13 today.
From then on, no sync possible anymore.
I already:
Now I'm stuck with a watch that can't be connected anymore and is stuck in install mode.
Edit: To clarify. The Charge 5 is being seen via bluetooth, i get's found by the app, but it doesn't complete the connection.

I've just been on live chat and the guy knew nothing. He was useless. Have they said when there will be an update for the bug?

A new Fitbit won't resolve it as it's an issue with Samsung Foldables and Fitbit devices (see here https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Charge-5/Failing-to-sync-after-android-13-update/m-p/5281583)

I got told I'd have to send back my fitbit to get a new one - annoyed that others are just being sent a brand new one!

Updated my Galaxy Flip 4 a few days ago and unable to sync charge 4 with device. Looking at replies it goes further than 1 person.
If fitbit even look into this it might be a while until a patch is pushed out 😑

I've had exactly the same, since updating my z flip3 I've been unable to sync my charge 5. I have tried every avenue. I was advised to delete my charge 5 from the fitbit app and reconnect it and now it won't even find my watch 😒

Fitbit's response to me after I told them I did all the above steps was a discount code for a new tracker..... wow. 🤣

I am having the same issue and tried all the fixes that were suggested. Hopefully it will be fixed quickly.

Exact same thing with me and my flip 4, charge 5. Have tried everything. It stopped syncing at the exact time I updated to Android 13.
I'm version 57.20001.188.58 for the charge 5
As I disconnected charge 5 and am now trying to setup again, I'm stuck at this screen:

@ayoeckel Right... who benefits from that? Fitbit, of course! They are really striking out left and right over this debacle! I hope management sits up and pays attention to this board and realizes why customer satisfaction is plummeting.

I have firmware version 57.200001.188.58, all was normal until my Z Flip3 had an update this morning, haven't been able to sync since.

My charge 5 is 57.20001.188.58 firmware. Same issue with my Flip 4

So it's not Fitbit. The new update won't help.
