Fitbit Charge HR and Moto Z Force

I just got a new phone and I am trying to pair the Charge HR to my Moto Z Force. It finds the Fitbit and when I type the 4 digit code into the Firbit app it shows 'Connecting' forever. Is there something I can do to resolve this. I trying a reset on the Fitbit and the app is freshly installed.

I have Moto Z Play.  Fitbit synced with it for a few months.  Then started syncing sporadically (and maybe though the app, as watch was connected to other devices).  Anyway, disconnected all other devices, in case that was the problem.  Reset, uninstalled app, reinstalled, reset, quite a few times.  Still not working.

Set it up with Nexus 5 (old phone).  Worked perfectly.

A firmware upgrade would be nice.  Or I'll just rethink when upgrade time comes around.

Otherwise, watch is great.

Many Moto phones are not supported, I have the Moto Z and have the same syncing problems.

Notifications do not work at all.

Fitbit are letting their product and customers down; the software is just not good enough.

I have the Moto Z Force and I have no issues with syncing or notifications.
My post above outlines what I did to get them working.

@Jwfuller78

You've done nothing special to get it going, my notifications are customised.too.

Also, I'm running the retail Moto Z, not the Force or Droid.

Are you able to control music from your Moto z through your Fitbit? That's the only part I can't get to work. It's very irritating

Hi, I have a Fitbit Blaze and the only problem I'm having is it will not play music everything else works although it says it's connected

My functionally is no music control and notifications is very spotty.

But my real issue is the TOTAL lack of customer service.

How odd, I just sent a message to them hopefully they'll respond and fix
the problem I think they just need to update all their devices I just had
that problem is only music so I'll just use my LG Tones those are just as
good, I do get notifications on my voice Fitbit it shows everything except
for playing music

That's exactly how mine is. I can't control any music. I'm hoping there
will be an update to fix it.

No, it shows that I'm connected but for some reason it just keeps trying to connect it keeps looping when I look at my Fitbit Blaze so I just given up and I'll just use my LG Tones

What did you do to get notifications on the blaze?

Best Answer
Follow the instructions for setup.  It works, but messages / notices are usually late and sporadic.

I have been waiting over a year for Fitbit to address the issue. No help, no response. Fitbit still doesn't support Moto devices!

I just want the text notifications
Best Answer
All I did was just set it up as usual downloading the app and it connected
I only problem I have is just it's not syncing up with the music Control
and that is all I has sent messages to Fitbit and they have informed me
that the Motorola Z-Force is not compatible for music Control so I just use
my LG Tones when I'm out and about and hopefully they will fix this by
adding the Motorola Z-Force to the device

Read the 101 Blaze guide instructions there's a lot of information there.
Also look at notifications and you can choose what what app notifications
you want especially text messaging
