Fitbit Update: 8/15
Hey all!
This week we released the option to opt-in to use the new dashboard to everyone. At this time, everyone should have received the option to opt-in already. If you didn't opt-in, we will transition everyone into the new dashboard in the coming weeks.
A reminder, after you've opted into the new design you cannot revert and go back to the old one. Read more about the new interface we've designed here: What’s the new Fitbit app experience?
Make sure you're also on the latest version of the Fitbit app.
Thanks for your patience while we completely released the new interface to everyone. We hope you're enjoying the improvements that have been made and appreciate all the feedback.
Fitbit Update: 8/6
Hey everyone!
Thanks for all your feedback on the new dashboard design. We're still in the process of releasing it to all of our users. If you don't see it yet, you will have it pushed to you in the coming weeks! This has been a slow process for the past few months to ensure a smooth rollout.
We're currently on app version 3.3, so please make sure as always that you have the latest version of the Fitbit app.
Once we've released this new dashboard to everyone, we will announce it in this thread.
Fitbit Update: 6/17
Hi Fitbit Family,
We are still rolling out our updated Fitbit app design to more users currently with v.2.95. Please make sure to update the Fitbit app by visiting the Google App play store if you haven't already. If you don't see the new dashboard just yet, you will be receiving it at some point in the coming weeks.
Thanks so much for your patience throughout this rollout. To read more about this new dashboard experience, please check this article out: What’s the new Fitbit app experience?
Once this rollout is complete, we will let you all know in this thread.
Fitbit Update: 5/23
Hi everyone!
We’ve rolled out another phase of testing for the new app dashboard experience. If you’re one of the lucky people to see it before the full release, you can read more about it here: What’s the new Fitbit app experience?
We’ll continue to slowly release this to all Fitbit customers on iOS and Android. Once we receive more information on this, we’ll let you know.
Hope you’re all enjoying this new layout!
Fitbit Update: 4/24
Hi everyone!
Beginning today with app v2.92, we're excited to announce a new dashboard experience for the Fitbit app, currently by invitation only. If you are invited to opt-in, you can see the new design and try our new app experience to access all your stats and information in a way that’s more dynamic, integrated, and highly personalized.
You can read more about it in this help article: What's the new Fitbit app experience?
As with all our new dashboard updates, this is a progressive rollout. If you don't have an invitation or see the dashboard immediately, you will receive it later on.
We will update this thread with more information later, so stay tuned!

Is there anything new on how much longer before the new dashboard is rolled out completely? My phone/account or whatever, seems to be at the bottom of the list. I've checked app updates, Android updates, phone compatibility and it all seems to be in order, yet, I'm still waiting and frustrated.

Realized I posted in the wrong thread, so I am deleting and finding the correct thread to re-post.

@Crazy-Fritter if your on a four year old dashboard, you still using the last dashboard people liked. If I read the posts from a few years ago, I read that "nobody likes" the dashboard that "everybody now" wants back
I'm running app version 2.63, it's not 4 years old, maybe 2? From screenshots I've seen here it looks basically like the dashboard that was just changed, it has the tiles layout.
I personally prefer it over the screenshots of the new dashboard, and it has been syncing perfectly with my surge since I installed it. I've been a very happy surge owner for the last few years, and won't be updating my app until I'm forced to for some reason.
I always turn auto updates off on all my devices that allow me to, because quite often when you get something working well, it really sucks to wake up to a broken device because of an automatic update 😮 :-[ 😞

@lorrainekeane @Prasad1337 I'm afraid the rollout is still going. Fitbit have not yet given a date when they expect it to complete

Lol I'll probably lose another 10 lbs and hit my target weight before they even get their things together

I have learned from support that the actual release date to the user community was July 11th. I guess all the earlier ones were for testing purposes. Since 7/11, it's progressive, gradual, and random. So, it will arrive eventually. I also have 3.1 and the old UI. Syncing is a real pain now. Rebooting the watch seems to be the only way to make it sync.

@Purrstachio, see, careful what you wish for. I'm holding on 2.95 for the timebeing hoping that the bugs are sorted before it hits me and what they want me to pay for.

Yeah, maybe. I just like the list format and the additional data. Supposedly, the only piece behind a paywall is the overall sleep score. Interesting info, but not worth paying for. I had NO syncing problems with 3.0.

Then why doesn't the fitbit app have an option to email?

Well I posted before who much I disliked the new interface that arrived two days ago and how I found it unfriendly and hard to see the useful info. Guess I should have been greatful as this is now all I have been able to see today.
Totally blank. If I tap into a category I can see my food diary and exercise stats etc. But main screen displays nothing. Tabbing back to previous days does nothing. Restarted phone and still not fixed. Will uninstall and try again.

My Fitbit app just updated thirty minutes ago. Now it no longer displays anything. Obviously something is amiss in this latest app. I have restarted the phone to no avail.

Same here! Before it wouldn't even let me into the app. It kept saying that it was unavailable or that my password or email address was wrong. Finally got it to allow me to log on, only after I had to clear data, uninstall, restart my phone and then reinstall. Useless! What are they doing?! Mine worked fine yesterday.

I've got the same issue as everyone else. I thought it was just punishing me because my weight went up this week. 😉
