Since latest update when I enter my weight it will not accept stones. From setting changed to kg that works. Set back to stones only option to input is pounds when entering new weight. Same on both android devices i use tried logging out and in, reset all devices too no change

Thanks Lizzy - when fixing it can you also make sure they put back the "weight lost so far" option - the weight icon used to swap through how much you had lost since you started your latest diet and what you weighed - now there is no where that shows you how much weight you lost since you started. You can see a week, a month, a year and forever but not the actual loss since in my case 10th Oct 24 when I started in earnest again.

The workaround is only partially good in that it accepts stones, but not
stones with pounds, and in UK we always give out weight as x-stone
y-pounds. Still waiting for the promised bug-fix.

I've tried the workaround the enter my weight in stones and pounds and that party works fine.

However, it does not correct previous entries where Fitbit has wrongly conveyed pounds into stones and pounds - instead it adds the freight entry to the date and the graph shows an average, which obviously is not what we want.

Fitbit - restore the ability to enter weight in stones and pounds, and as the facility to delete incorrect entries.

and if you're listening Fitbit: bring back the weekly averages. Daily entries fluctuate, but the weekly average gave you an idea or whether it was going up or down

Why was the routine to enter weight as stones and pounds removed? Is it because Americans only use pounds and forget they are not the only country in the world?

I also have this issue. When is it going to be fixed? Also it won't work with my scales now too as that's in stone. So it tries to update but can't.

Just to clarify - my ariaair can't update as it's in stone. Please can your team check that before rolling out the fix?

Having also had fitbits for a good number of years, I can no longer recommend them in good faith anymore.

The complete disregard Google has been showing to their inherited customers sadly means I can't.

My frustration is I NOT in the market for a new device, my physical devices functions great upto the point where you need to interface with the phone with the data.... 😞

Not sure why "Solved" has been added to the subject on the forum?  It really isn't solved, there are a few work around that's not "solved".

Maybe someone needs to start a new thread if it's marked as solved.

This was marked as solved but it's not solved! So I have to start a new one.

Stones to pounds

  • 1 stone = 14 pounds
  • 9.5 stone = 133 pounds
  • To get pounds from stone and pounds, times stone by 14 and add the remaining pounds
    • 10 stone 5 pounds -> (10X14) + 5 = 145

If you need pounds to kilos, multiply pounds by 0.453592

Hold home page icon down and it will allow you to log weight in stones and pounds

This has not been answered. It's a simple fix, wind back the latest release.  Lots of "we understand your frustration' type replys from fit but but all ending with words to the effect that they don't care and may fix it at some point if they can't find anything better to do. Have a new versa 4 for Xmas, do I take it back as un useable or not?
