Notification issues after updating to Android 10

Fitbit Update: 1/15/2020

Hello, Android users!

We've been seeing a lot of you that recently have upgraded to Android OS 10 report that you're now having difficulty receiving notifications to your Fitbit watches. 

I've merged many posts together and we've escalated the issue to our developers to investigate.

Il bought it on Amazon i'm from Canada. Maybe thats why. They are all this price here. I have the Versa 2 the rosegold one. Maybe thats a special edition I don't know...But I know she was working fine before the update 🤦😂

Ok...ohone and computer dummy here..where do I find Google messenger to download so I can also receive text messages on my s10+

I've been waiting almost a month for the issue to be fixed.  Thinking about switching to a Samsung watch now.

We shouldn't have to download anything  FITBIT really needs to fix this.

Sounds just like my issue. I have a Samsung s10  text notifications and messenger stopped working right after Christmas too. Phone calls work

Same here, my husband has same phone and same watch and his gets all his notifications. It drives me crazy. I have checked every setting on both phones and they are all the same.

Nope no real answer. I got the generic response as well.

I joined the Fitbit community the beginning of January. I have a Note 10 and from day one I have not been able to get notifications pushed to my Fitbit.  I enjoy the Fitbit and was really looking forward to having phone messages pushed to my Fibit.  I read the articles and tried all the tips.  Due to my work I either don't have my phone on me or it is on silent.  I am looking forward to having my Fitbit work as it should.
