Fitbit Update: 6/13/2018
New version 2.73 has been fully released to all our Android users and you should be able to update your Fitbit app. We have released a fix for Message+ and Signal App notifications.

Hi, everyone!
I noticed many of you reporting that you no longer receive your Message+ notifications to your Versa/Ionic after the Fitbit OS 2.1 update.
We've escalated this issue to our team for investigation. For the meantime, I recommend using the default texting app on your Android device or any other messaging apps.
When I have more information, I'll provide that here. Thank you!

Best AnswerI tried switching to my default message app but I don't get those notifications either....now I'm also noticing that other things aren't syncing to the app either. For example, I am meeting my goal of 250 steps per hour but the app shows 0....my versa is recognizing the steps however
Does this issue also apply to the blaze? After almost a month of not getting notifications & trying everything I can to fix it, I gave up and decided it was a Samsung issue and it would work again when they fixed their end. (Started after their uodate). I spontaneously started getting notifications last week but it stopped again 2 days ago. Help? I' very disappointed and regretting choosing fitibt.
My problems began with the Fitbit update for Versa to .15. The company is trying to get it fixed. Some users says the V8 version of Android does work with .20. Hate the wait and the updates. My blaze is sitting in a drawer.
FYI. Moderator: Even the default message does not work. Face it, this is an epic fail. I hope many hands are on deck to fix the mess. My calls no longer are coming in and the only thing that does work on notifications. My calendar. A date to fix would be more than appropriate at this time. Going on too long. To tell us keep checking back is just so annoying. Not an answer.
To recap: Android V7 does not work with Versa update to .15
Somehow the notifications on my charge 2 had been turned off. So I turned it on & it appears to be working
Best AnswerYes, after contacting customer support, I received an email saying they are aware of the issue and working on a fix.
