If you're still experiencing issues receiving notifications from the Message+ app, I recommend confirming that you're updated to the latest app release and following our notifications troubleshooting tips provided in this help article.
I am closing this thread as the issue has been resolved. If you begin to experience this issue again at a later time, please create another post in the Android Community Forum and reference this thread. Thank you for your continued patience as we worked to get this resolved.
Fitbit Update: 6/13/2018
New version 2.73 has been fully released to all our Android users and you should be able to update your Fitbit app. We have released a fix for Message+ and Signal App notifications.

Hi, everyone!
I noticed many of you reporting that you no longer receive your Message+ notifications to your Versa/Ionic after the Fitbit OS 2.1 update.
We've escalated this issue to our team for investigation. For the meantime, I recommend using the default texting app on your Android device or any other messaging apps.
When I have more information, I'll provide that here. Thank you!

I just received my Versa as a gift approximately 2 weeks ago. All notifications worked perfectly for about a week. Now, I no longer receive message+ as well as messenger. All I get is Gmail & Fitbit. I have another 2 weeks to decide on whether or not to keep this Versa. My Samsung Gear did not have nearly the step accuracy or battery life, but I always received my notifications. My desire is with Versa, but no notifications is a deal breaker. PLEASE FIX ASAP. I have tried all the recommendations. Nothing worked. I am frustrated and disappointed.

Best AnswerHello! I recently purchased the Google Pixel 2 and I'm not getting any notifications to my FitBit Versa. I'm not sure what to do?
Best AnswerGlad to hear it may be an upgrade issue. I just bought this two weeks ago and it just stopped working. I get my notifications but no vibration. So frustrating. It vibrates for alarms and to move and everything else it should. Just not on notifications. 😞 I’ve tried shutting it down. Unconnceted Bluetooth. Turned notifications on and off. Nothing? Anyone else??
Best AnswerI am very frustrated with the same problem and am wondering if it can be returned under the warranty.
Best AnswerI use message plus with a note 8 that has Oreo (8.0 OS) and I get messages and can reply. I always keep 2 messages on my Fitbit.
