Samsung Galaxy S8/S8+ Compatibility

Just got the S8+ yesterday, but my Blaze no longer receives notifications from my device. I've reset the Blaze, removed it from my account, gone through setup, restarted the phone and Blaze, uninstalled the app, and every other troubleshooting recommendation on the forums. All permissions are granted. No luck. Everything else syncs. Is this just a compatibility issue?

It seems that the S8 is not fully supported by fitbit and notifications are an issue. See the following thread for more information on this:

you go to settings and notifications in the Fitbit App. Its a little difficult to find but its there. My Surge has been fine for last 3 weeks.

I was getting text messages but no music.  It was suggested that I uninstall and reinstall Blaze, which I did.  NOW.... I can control my music but receive no text on my Blaze.  It does not even recognize the Blaze under Bluetooth search.   Fitbit please try and keep up with some of these phones.  This is not new technology that is just popped on the market.  It has been in the works for over a year.

I was able to get my devices to pair and my blaze receive notifications but
it is very sketchy. It constantly looses connection and I have to keep
refreshing it even though I do have the all day pair option on. Its very
frustrating.

It ought to come back overnight. It usually does. Then your battery life
will completely tank. Do yourself a favor, ditch the Bit. It's inferior to
basically everything else on the market. I sold mine.

I was able to get my devices to pair and my Charge 2 receives notifications but
it is very sketchy. It looses connection and I have to keep manually syncing it even though the all day pair is on. I know its not on the list of compatible devices but for it to work sometimes is very frustrating. I've uninstalled and reinstalled. I removed the pairing and reset it. Firmware version is 22.22.53.4 is this the most up to date? Am I missing something?

Go to settings on your blaze.  Click Bluetooth until it says pair.  Push scan on your phone.  It should give you a pairing code. It took me 3 times but it's connected now

The Samsung Galaxy S8 or S8+ will not send notifications to any Fitbit because they apparently do not support it yet.  Fitbit Engineers need to make an update to allow the Samsung Galaxy S8 or S8+ send/receive notifications/communicate.

I would suggest that you restart your phone (refreshes it) and uninstall then reinstall the app..that may work. I really hope it syncs up for you quickly

This would work if Fitbit supported the newer Samsung Android phones like the S8 or S8+.  But at this time the do not support the platform of the S8 or S8+.  To show you just go to this website and follow the prompts below "Can’t find your device?".

It needs to be made compatible asap. Ridiculous that it isn't already.
