Good Morning!
Is any one else still not able to receive Notifications?
I have a new S8 Plus Galaxy Samsung for three weeks and Fit bit can't seem to update it's software
to resolve this issue yet, yes i do MISS getting Notifications on mt Surge...

Hello @TimVyv17, thank you for visiting the Fitbit Community. At this time, the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ is currently not on our list of supported devices. This means that our Android team has not yet fully tested it for compatibility and added it to the list.
It won't hurt to give it a try to the troubleshooting steps: My tracker isn't receiving notifications (Android Fitbit app).
Rest assure our Android team is still working on some bugs with the S8 and are hoping to improve compatibility soon. So keep an eye open for future updates!

Best AnswerAre text and call notifications still not working on the Galaxy S8? I cant get them to work but had no problems with the S5. The S8 has been out for months now!

Yes @JonnyAbs it's been a few months already and I recommend to review the latest update from our dedicated thread for this issue in the following post.
In your case @WEM74, I recommend to set up the notifications from scratch again. It might help to resolve the issue.

Best AnswerNotifications not working on my Samsung Galaxy S8 and not on my wife's S7. We both have Blaze. I am running app 2.57.3. I have never seen in any Blaze installation instructions that you need to connect to the Blaze found in the bluetooth list, only Blaze (Classic) for music control. Connection to Blaze is not working in any case. Just get a message that connection is refused.
I am having the same issue I can not get notifications for text or calls on my Surge I am using my Samsung S8+ I have tried all of the troubleshooting steps for this issue and nothing seems to work. I even tried on my friends Google Pixel. It didn't work on that phone as well.
Best AnswerI noticed that the last reply from the fit Bit community was July 2017 regarding the issues users are having with the S8 and S8 Plus. Has the software been updated? I am unable to get my notifications from my S8. It was working a few weeks ago but all of a sudden just stopped. Please Help
